I was not impressed by the quality of this comforter. I had purchased a comforter set a few months ago from Overstock and was really happy with it. So I was anxious to get this set. When I got it, it was not like it is shown on the picture. The comforter was not soft, neither were the 300 count sheets. Hard as boards. The picture also shows the border below the mattress edge which it was not when I put it on the bed. It was actually 3 inches shorter than the mattress edges. I am sending this back for reimbursement.

This comforter set is even nicer than the picture makes it look. The comforter keeps you really warm and I am satisfied with my purchase! Thanks

I ordered this set and the shipping was so fast! Now from looking at the picture I could not see that there was a pattern on the brown all over the comforter. It is a black swiggly sort of pattern. So when I seen this after I got it I was not loving it but I put it on the bed to see what it looks like and I DO LOVE IT. Despite the pattern on it. It is SOOOOOO warm and SOOOOOO comfy! Its a great set glad I gave it a chance!

I was disappointed with this item. While the comforter is substantial, and luxurious looking, it was flawed in that some of the quilting stuffing was missing, as if it had pulled away. There were threads in several places. The bed skirt was distinctly flimsy. The "drop" was stitched of a lengths of thin cotton fabric, with a narrow border towards the bottom of the same border material on the comforter, a faux leather. In addition, the bed skirt drop was too short, barely 15 inches, which is inadequate for today's higher beds. Why do manufacturers insist on providing standard shams for queen-size bedding? They manage to get it right for the king sizes. Columbia missed the boat on this one. With a bit more effort, it could have been a contender.

I have been looking for a brown comforter for my guest bedroom. This fit the bill. Since it is made Columbia Sportswear I know it will last forever!
