The chairs and the hutch look really elegant! They were packaged really nicely, BUT the table legs are missing from the package, and it seems I am not the only one who has this problem according to other people's review. And the instruction on how to assemble the table is very confusing. Anyway, once we eventually be able to assemble everything, I think they are worth the money and time.
This dining room set is an excellent addition to our home. The color is very rich. The set looks expensive. The lower bracing of the table comes with a stainless bar which you can't see in the pictures. It works for us though. The assembly is a bit time consuming, but we expected that from other reviews. The set came for us in exactly 6 weeks, but like other reviewers it came without the legs. The legs took 2 more weeks to come. Once we recieved everything we are very happy with the set. Overstock was helpful in responding.
The Columbo dining set is sturdy, well made and good looking. We love the clean contemporary lines. It's a true value for the money. The only snag we had was in the shipping. We did not receive the legs with the initial shipment, but the customer service department handled our problem with efficiency and courtesy.

I received my table over a week ago and the legs were not in the box. The table and matching credenza are very nice and the quality seems good, however, I am not entirely pleased with the fact that I still do not have legs to the table. They are supposed to be coming...
The chairs are very cool, and very sturdy, but require a full day to put together.
Overall, I would recommend this set.
I have been very pleased with this dining set. It has a solid construction and rich finish. It was straight forward to put the table and chairs together. Assembly is much faster if you can use an cordless drill (use the alan wrench to make a drill bit). The shipping coordination was good.
