I absolutely love these giant night stands. They are really sturdy and nice wood for the price. My husband had practically no trouble putting these night stands together. The only draw back for me, and I think I'm just being sensitive, is that they smell. The finish is very smelly and I can't get over it! I am expecting right at this moment, but every time I go to bed I can smell it. Any-ways, it's still a great product.

We just assembled our 2 nightstands. The first one took us 1 1/2 hours (working together), the second one took only 1 hour. The instructions were very easy to follow and everything was well labeled. This is a tall nightstand that is even with the top of my mattress, we have a 3" mattress topper that makes it more difficult to find a suitable nightstand. It is a bit wider than I had expected. The nightstand is well made and is a deep rich brown. The drawers slide really easily. The wood on the drawers did split when we screwed in the drawer slides but didn't cause any problems with the finished project. Overall I'm very pleased and recommend this nightstand.

This nightstand is AWESOME! We love it! I was concerned about buying furniture from a picture, but I just went for it and I am happy I did. I was interested in a large night stand to compliment my huge king size sleighbed. The bed is so large that a dinky night stand would just not do. I bought two, one for each side and my husband put them together without any problems. He said the directions were easy for him. He used an electric drill so no complaints of his hands being tired. The color is dark and rich. The feet are really unique. They look extremely high end. I have been looking for night stands for years. I am glad I waited until I found something I really like. Oh yeah, Overstock is awesome too. Shipping was excellent. We had them in a week. Packaged very well! I will definately buy from overstock again.

Nice ebony finish. Sturdy looking, chunky larger scale night stand. Reasonably well made once assembled but very time consuming to do so. This wasn't worth the time to put it together for us. We like it OK but now wish we'd just brought the assembled night table that cost more. Delivery was excellent - quick and on time and the box was well packed. I still like Overstock.com and will order form them again but I probably won't buy anything that takes so long to put together.

Love this nightstand! Finally, a place to hide the medications, the remotes etc. Love the finished height for better reading light. It took my handyman friend 2 hrs to assemble (I think he had fun). Delivery was efficient. The packaging was excellent.--everything was in its place and accounted for. Thank you.

I was nervous about purchasing this nightstand on line. I had been shopping at local stores and had not found just the right thing so I decided to give this a try. I was not disapointed. As the other reviews stated it did take about 2 hours to put one nightstand together. The pieces were well packed, everything was clearly marked and fit together well. The one thing I couldn't find out for sure before purchasing was what kind of drawer glides it had. They turned out to be side mounted extension glides which is what I wanted. I am very pleased.

Just got finished putting this together, and I am really, really please (AGAIN!) with my overstock purchase. It looks as nice as any piece of white glove delivered furniture in my home. I used my drill with a screwdiver attachment and assmbled it myself in about 2 hours. It was pretty easy and the directions are very, very clear. I agree with whomever said the screws have to go in just right -- if they're not straight they will not go in. Some of them I had to put in with a hand screwdriver. To me this is a good thing -- precision in assembly equals a stable and sturdy piece of furniture. This looks MUCH more expensive than it was, and has a nice weight to it. Drawers slide beautifully and the finish is beautiful. Don't hesitate!

The nightstands were bigger and better than I had hoped. The quality is remarkable for the price. A little time intensive for assembly but the directions were very good and all the pieces were there. They matched the color of my bed frame perfectly. The drawers glide very nicely and the finish work is beautiful.

Love these. They are very nice looking and are a nice, dark mahogany wood. They will take awhile to put together, but well worth it. Great furniture for the money. Large, oversized nightstands were just what I wanted!

We are very happy with our purchase. It took 3 hours for my husband to put together. It is very sturdy and heavy. We put it on our spare bedroom and it matches our beds perfectly. Your hands get tired from all the screws so its best to have two people that can take turns.

I am actually using this as a dresser instead of a bedside table. It looks good and is sturdy, but it did take a long time to put together. The drawers also don't glide as well as I would like.

I have just completed assembling this massive nightstand. It is absoultely gorgeous! I am extremely surprised by it's size and would recommend this piece to anyone. I am greatful that I also purchased the 5 drawer dresser!

This nightstand arrived very quickly, with all its parts present. The assembly instructions were very clear. It's a very sturdy piece of furniture with a beautiful finish, and fits my needs (finish, style, size, drawer capacity) perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another piece of rubberwood furniture from this manufacturer/Overstock.

I rarely write reviews but this was a quality piece of furniture for a reasonable price. I build some cabinetry and know well-built stuff. The only negatives were that the assembly was quite complicated and I am not a fan of MDF for the interior drawer parts but overall this was top-notch!!

This piece is quite large and heavy. After laying out each piece of the night stand, one can see each piece is clearly marked. Unfortunately, the directions are not so great. They can be a bit misleading about which way and where certain screws go in. I have to say, the biggest problem has been the drawer sliders. The screws used to attach these do not go in well and the pre-made holes are not straight enough. I have assembled enough furniture and I can make a screw go in straight, but this was nearly impossible. If the screws are not perfectly straight, they will not go in all the way. And then you cannot slide the drawers in because they are blocked. I have repeatedly tried to fix this, but I am at my wits end. Hopefully a power drill will help me fix this problem. I would recommend using one just to make the process go faster too. Even without difficulties, this will take at least 1 1/2 hours to assemble. The night stand looks very nice, even without the drawers, but be prepared to take some time out of your day to assemble the monster.

172 pieces in this nightstand... took two days and two adults with knowhow to assemble this....However when completed, a beautiful, heavy, quality piece...Good thing my husbands buddy stopped over or it would still be all over the family room..I will think twice before buying furniture again
