This review is for the Cole SLIPPER CHAIR in EGGPLANT(purple). I wanted to replace a large mission armchair in my bedroom since it was too large for the space and I kept banging my knee on it. I settled on this slipper chair because it is substantial, lower to the ground(great for putting on shoes), comfortable enough to read in, and a handsome muted purple. Now that I have had it for 2 weeks, I like how it fits in the space(no arms)and appreciate the ability to move around it with ease. I am pleased with my purchase and the price was right. Now for the 2 negatives: 1) The last bolt would not fit, so like other reviewers we did not use it.This is very common to Overstock furniture. 2)Underneath the cushion there is no support, so a potential buyer of this chair piece might want to consider the frequency & type of use. I don't know how common this is for slipper chairs to not have support but I was surprised.

I love my 2 new eggplant chairs! The color is beautiful, and they weren't hard to assemble. As far as how they "sit," they are pretty firm. If you are looking for something you will melt /curl up into like a soft recliner, these aren't your chairs. Also, looks-wise, they are plain and pretty straight-backed, which some many not like. But with a pillow on them...and mixed with my white leather couch in the den, they look and feel great for my purposes!

Have been looking for an oversize purple chair to put in the front room. Had not found what I have been looking for and thought I would have to settle for this chair. When I received I realized that I was not settling and that the chair would work very well in the air intended. I was very happy with the quality of the leather, the stitching of the leather and the color. The chair is sleek and modern, just what I was looking for. The price was a lot less than I was expecting to pay for the quality of the chair.

I purchased two of these for my library/office and find them striking. The color is darker and richer than depicted in the picture, which I was hoping for. They make a simple, elegant statement and gave new life to my old gray sofa. As others have stated, I would have liked the seats to have support underneath. However, since these chairs are not used on a daily basis, they serve the purpose and the price can't be beat. The quality of leather was more than I expected. This is my second purchase from overstock and I am very satisfied and pleased.

This is the perfect size and color, and the quality of the leather is very good. It isn't a chair that I felt was very comfortable which is why I gave it 4 stars. However I Will use it as an accent chair and it will not get heavy use. For the money it is a great buy and if I had room I would purchase another.

leg was broken in shipping but Overstock picked up and had it replaced within five days...great service. This chair is solid and a beautiful shade ...dark eggplant. Comfortable too!

I bought this chair for my home salon and it looks/feels fabulous. The color is darker than depicted more of a deep plum (almost looks black). It was well packed and easy to assemble and looks very elegant. I just love it and Im ordering another today.

I bought this chair for the color first and the style second. I am happy with both. The color looks different in different light. It was simple to put together with the wrench included. I also thought the packaging was well thought out. There were even little boots on the legs! Love it!

I just received the chair today and it was packaged beautifully! We followed the very easy instructions to assemble and it even comes with pads for the feet, which are attached, I was real happy about that. So far so good! It's in my bedroom which is painted a nice plum. Pulls the room together! Very reasonably priced and yes it is real leather

I love this chair and it fits perfectly in my home office. The quality is excellent and it took less than 10 minutes to assemble. I've received many compliments on the chair.

The chair is gorgeous. I have it in the LR with a white leather couch. It is very sturdy. It was a difficult one person assembly because the chair is sturdy and the back was heavy to hold while screwing in place. If you help help it would be cinch! Nice size and comfortable too. I wish I had room for two.

Chair came quickly, qulaity is wonderful, very comfortable and leather is great - color is exactly as shown on website. Again, Overstock has exceeeded expectations and we will return for more.

This chair was purchased for a guest room. It is a great funky color and I will pair this with a pale gray over all color, with accents of yellow/green and deep purple. It arrived in perfect shape and I had no problems putting it together. Nice leather.

I purchased this chair for our newly renovated bedroom. It is the only contempory piece amidst antique furniture, in a room with a high ceiling and hardwood floor. I love it! It adds just the right touch. The quality and color are excellent. Packing was superb and the chair was a snap to assemble--very pleased!

This chair is the most gorgeous shade of eggplant! Is is soft, smooth high quality leather! The color is more subdued than the picture shows, but it is much more beautiful. It goes with everything!

I'm so happy with these eggplant leather chairs. I purchased two of them for my living room. They are beautiful and match my decor perfectly. I highly recommend them. They were very easy to put together. You won't be disappointed!

This is a nice chair although more expensive than similar chairs sold on OS. My biggest complaint is the color. It appear much more purple on line and is actually kind of a gray-purple.

I recently bought a home and am slowly furnishing it. My style is classic with a bit of flair. This chair fits beautifully with the decor. It's stylish and comfortable. The color is true to its picture and the piece was extremely simple to assemble. If this is the type of piece that catches your eye, I would highly recommend adding it to your home.
