multi-tiered design is the prize winner here. looks great after all that assembly. had a friend help so it wasn't too bad. matched my furniture set well, which was a taupe color. the multi tier gives it a great height and looks very structured.

I love multi-shaped and highly functional pieces of furniture, mostly when they are give on such affordable price than this coffee table. The color is matching with the room and the design brings the last puzzle piece into the look. I really like that it is a solid and high quality piece not just another poor replica. I know when I need the best I come to Overstock.

Very nice for the price, it is real wood and the the little drawer is real too. Most hall tables I find have no drawer or a fake drawer. It has a handmade look to it. Only thing is I thought this was a painted multi-color table based on the picture, but it is all 1 color of stained wood. I am still very happy with it and looks perfect where it sits. Assembly so easy they don't even include instructions...just remember to attach the legs to the top drawer piece first and work your way down.

We were going for a modern, warmm and natural aesthetic in our living room with a pallette of grays, coffees, and mixed metals. This complements our color scheme and plays up the style. We love that the "cubes" are multi-functional. We nest one underneath the coffee table that easily pulls out for entertaining, and another serves as a sofa side table. Unpacking and assembly took about 1 hr. for one person. Be careful to set the tables and/or your lighting up approrpriately - we had to angle our spotlights differently because they created a huge glare off the mirrored tops that reflected across the ceiling and walls.

The table is great for an end table, but I have a few issues with it. I wish in the description, they would have mentioned how prominently the multi-colored slate pieces were featured in the appearance of the table, because in the picture, you can't really see the slate insets at all. (I was hoping for just a black wrought iron/glass topped table.)Otherwise, very easy to assemble, looks nice, and is a nice addition indoors (or really even outdoors as well.)

I ordered this piece for my living room to store my 6 months old toys in. We use it as a coffee table/ foot rest/ and toy chest. The color is a little darker then pictured, but it has grown on me so I don't mind that it doesn't match all the other pieces in our living room exactly. My husband put it together in 40 minutes no problem. It stores a lot of toys in it. For the money, this is a beautiful, multi-functional piece that I am glad I found. AND you can't beat shipping at $2.95!!!

This is a great piece. I purchased it over 4 months ago and at first I was afraid it would chip or dent easily, but it hasn't. It's been in my entry and it's seen a bit of abuse with shoes, keys, mail, groceries, etc, all hitting it at some time or another. The color is true to the picture- it's a nice, rich brown- not a black-brown. The cross design on the sides look very stylish and the entire piece is very solid and sturdy. We did have an issue fitting the top shelf on though due to a manufacturer's flaw. The holes were not drilled in the right location for top shelf to fit into the side panels- so I used a multi-tool saw to cut down half of the pegs (which could not physically fit into the holes) and place a bit of wood glue on the edges so the top would stay. I haven't had any issues with stability.

I bought this table about 6 months ago. First, it is hard to assemble. Second, there are chips in several spots where the cheaply applied finish is coming off; I see the MDF below the finish and there is no way to fix it, because it is multi-colored and no one marker will suffice. It cannot be sanded or refinished, unless you want to apply another type of veneer to it. It's not like I'm hard on furniture; I live alone and any marks it's getting are due to very light contact, I'm not even sure what contact it is getting. I have not moved it at all until recently...Last, I tried to move it 2 days ago. We picked it up, and set it down gently, and one of the table legs fell off. Getting it back on, and getting it to stay, will be difficult. I will try wood glue, and it could use a nail application, but because of the material it won't likely hold. So this is a cool looking coffee table, but it just is all looks and no substance, it is just a bit of a rip-off, like if you're a hipster you deserve it or something. All I wanted was something stylish, but with at least a little substance. Sadly that's not what I got. The company should be ashamed of selling such a piece of junk.
