Solid Copper mug with nickel lined interior. I wanted solid copper and no other metals. There was nothing in the product description that said nickel plated or nickel lined. So it cost me $$ for return shipping to find out this detail. There are many others out that that really are solid copper. Skip this if you want the solid copper 'look'.

The Travel Coffee Mug is good. Nothing special. Nothing terrible. Good Durability.

I wanted 100% copper mugs for moscow mules. So I orded these "solid" copper mugs because if they were "solid" copper I would think they are 100% copper. However they are lined so it sort of defeats the purpose of having a copper mug other than looks. They are even called moscow mule mugs. Sort of a waste of money since the drink does not come in contac with the copper. Notes that copper lining is for safety is crazy, what are most domestic home water pipes made of?

I selected this particular mug for my husband because of the price and because it met his first requirement: it had to have a handle. Most travel mugs do not have handles. He needed the handle because he likes to sip coffee while walking our energetic retriever.

I bought this so I would stop using disposable cups, my way of being "green." It's a nice mug, but it only keeps my coffee hot for about 20 minutes. Other than not keeping my coffee hot, it's an okay mug.

These mugs are not solid copper. They are a copper outer have a nickel lining. They do not impart the proper flavor into a drink like a moscow mule. Do not order if you expect a solid copper mug.

I have many copper things in my kitchen and I just wanted a finishing touch with these mugs. They are beautiful and work wonderfully . I Have to admit, I have had to have some morning coffee in them..If you do this, remember that copper and brass are conductors, so be careful holding this mugs handle. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

These are beautiful mugs, but thinner in gage (thickness) than i expected. The inside is coated in nickel and the body of the mug has a nice old fashioned bowl and handle design. Draw-back: these mugs are most certainly NOT for HOT beverages, since copper is such an excellent conductor of temperature, coffee, tea and such hot beverages make the handel to hot to touch. Otherwise they are great additions to our home.

Nickel lined mug. Would have preferred a solid copper mug, but looks good.

These are large mugs with a solid feel to them. The handle has a flat spot to rest your thumb on. Nicely balanced. Arrived very carefully packaged, no chips.

Very impressed with this purchase. I like the round size better than the square mug shape. They are solid in material and the handles extend out far enough for a large hand to hold on to. They were a gift for my husband and he was very impressed and happy with the quality. So am I.

I bought these as a gift for a friend and I got to open the box and check them out. They are heavy and durable, not solid copper but they are really classic. I think it will show overtime how they last after many uses but following the care instructions will be an important aspect of that. I'm happy with this gift.

Overall this product seems okay, but you should rethink presenting these mugs as "solid copper". The handle is, I think, brass, and they are lined with some other, silver-colored material, maybe nickle or tin. Makes it difficult to judge the actual copper content, which could be only a very thin veneer over the cup lining. If this is the case, these mugs are really overpriced!

I ordered these for my uncle. He has wanted "Moscow Mule" mugs for awhile and these where by far the cheapest solid cooper ones I could find. The order came quickly, and the mugs are BEAUTIFUL!!....and as an added bonus, the recipe for a Moscow Mule was on the box they came in. These have been used many times, and I will in fact be ordering more. ...

NOT SOLID COPPER, TIN LINED. Okay the handle Brass/Nickel, it said so, but even the picture lies. Anticipated arrival today with great anticipation as I feel I have found the best Jamaican Ginger Beer (with ginger root oil extract for that extra kick). The copper's the thing from all I've heard, so again, I say "HOODWINKED". Happy to have gotten "first timers" promo discount and free shipping..... but now to return them? Not Happy. There goes my Moscow Mule cocktails in a few days......

As others have said, these mugs are not made of solid copper (almost no contemporary cooking utensil or drinking vessel is), but in spite of the mfg's false claims, I assumed that the mugs were only "copper plated" when I bought them, specifically for making Moscow Mule cocktails. They're beautiful mugs that make quite a presentation and always elicit oohs and aahs when frosty drinks are served to guests. I'm disappointed that the interiors became tarnished after only one use, but as long as that's only an aesthetic issue when the mugs are empty, and the discoloration doesn't affect the beverages, I can live with it. As my wife said, "Most of the time, you won't be able to see the bottom of the mug, anyway." Those issues aside, I was so pleased with my first set of 4 mugs that I ordered 4 more. When summer ends and the weather turns cooler (hey, I'm in San Diego, so it really doesn't get "wintry"), I'll switch from chilled Moscow Mules to hot cocoa and be just as impressed...

We like the mugs, They keep the drinks very cold. however the finish that is on them is peeling off. So the mugs look scratched up.

They say the kitchen is the heart of a home, but in many homes, it's also the biggest source of energy waste. Kitchen lighting, refrigeration and cooking consume about 41.5 percent of the total home energy use; add space heating, cooling, and water heating to that total, and you'll see your kitchen is quite the energy hog. Creating an eco-friendly kitchen includes your choice of appliances, but it also goes beyond that; the floors, paint, pots and pans, and other kitchen items you use can make your kitchen eco-friendly as well.
