  I bought this coffee maker 3 months ago because I have other Kitchen Aid appliances and wanted red. However, I soon found out that it plugs up and has to be cleaned with vinegar at least once a week. Today, it quit working completely, none of the program buttons will work and it will not perk. I will certainly not pay this much for another coffee maker that only lasted 3 months. It is not work the price to mail it back for warranty, so I will just get rid of it and buy a different brand. If you had hard water at all, I would not recommend this product.

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color matched all of my other Kitchen Aid products
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. It needed to be cleaned at least once a week with vinegar and after 3 months, just quit working completely, nothing on the programmer worked and it would not perk.

  This is an inexpensive coffee pot that looks very nice on your counter and brews a great cup of coffee! Love it!!

  I had an earlier version of this coffee maker, the DCC 2000. Many improvements have been made and the coffee always tastes fresh. I love that there is no carafe I can break, and it looks great on the counters as well!

  We replace a cheaper 12 cut model with this 14 cup coffee maker. It's nice to have the extra capacity . It is not only very nice looking, it works great. We really love it & are very happy we purchased it.

  I saw this and used it for the first time at a resort and loved it so much, I researched and found it at Overstock. I bought it for our boat, so we don't have to deal with grinds and a whole coffee maker. It takes up minimal space, you just pour the water in the top for each cup and it makes really good, strong and hot coffee. Absolutely love it!
