  • The plunger broke off after using about four times

    Nov 4, 2014

The coffee was wonderful but the screen on the plunger is plastic and cheaply made. It stripped off the metal post after using 4 times

This thing is a piece of junk. It is so weak, the instructions recommend using non-fat milk...as it may have issues with the weight of whole milk. Really? When I got it, it didn't turn on, so I had to play with it for a little while in order to get it to work. The speed varies, when you can get it to work, and it will take you a bit to "froth" any milk because it doesn't always work, and when it does...only sometimes it has enough power to "froth." I put "froth" in parenthesis because it doesn't froth the milk. It bubbles the milk...which was fine with me, I mean, it was only like $XX or something. If you purchase, just make sure you know it's not a true latte. For the price, it would be worth purchasing if the machine was strong enough to do anything...but it was hit or miss for about 40 latte's, and then it died on me.

  • Great little camping pot!

    Feb 20, 2014

I bought this for a camping pot, but this would also be great for power outages. It appears to be good quality and it looks nice enough for any kitchen. Great value.

I love coffee made in a French press. I wanted one without glass parts so I wouldn't worry about breaking it. This press is beautiful in design. There are two features that I have not seen in other presses. One, there is a filter at the spout to catch any grounds that escape the plunger. The filter in the plunger is closed off by turning the shaft after plunging, which stops the brewing completely. I served coffee from this press to friends who are serious about their coffee. They complimented the coffee and wanted to know how it was made! I an very pleased.
