I bought this clock for my mother who is in the initial stages of dementia and sometimes can't remember what day it is. She is so grateful to have this clock that she keeps asking me how much it cost (very reasonable based on my research) and offering to pay for it!

I got this clock for my 89 year old mother because it has the day on it. She needed something by her pill box that could inform her what day it is. It works great for that purpose. And it is of course, accurate, and easy to read at a glance. It took me a while to find a sweet spot in the house that would pick up the atomic time, but after about 10 minutes it kicked in and has worked perfectly since.

Setup instructions are easy to follow. If you have doubts there is a video at the LaCrosse webpage. Their online suggestion for my problem was to change the batteries. We purchased fresh, long life, quality batteries and the problem has not resolved. The next step is to contact the vendor and try to speak with a tech person. It has a one year warranty, so will probably be resolved. I am anxious to get this to my 90 yr old Mother who is frequently lost when it comes to day and date. I know this would provide her reassurance.
