I absolutely love these stools! They shipped in record time and came in perfect shape. I put 3 of them together all by myself and thought it was a snap! They look beautiful, are very sturdy and comfortable!
I was so thrilled to find these stools on Overstock because I already owned the table & chairs and the wine rack that they match. I wasn't 100% sure they were exact by the picture until they came in the mail (just two days later!!) Needless to say they are beautiful, I am pleased with the workmanship, and cost. Just as everyone has said in their reviews they were a bit difficult to put together because the holes were not lining up..no big deal. But if these stools are anything like the chairs that go with the table, the screws will continuily work themselves loose and they will rattle, so they will need tightened on occasion. But I still just love the stools, and again I was just thrilled to find them on overstock nearly 4 years after buying the table! I think I will buy two more!
These stools are very well priced compared to what I've seen in stores. They look great. I couldn't help but notice them in a house featured on HGTV's "Property Virgins" recently, too. As noted by others, it is sometimes difficult to get the screws in the slots, but with a little perseverence, not too bad.
Received the three stools in a timely fashion, and when I open the boxes I was very very impressed, because after visiting the various local furniture stores for counter stools they were either to short or over priced. Assembling the stools was so easy that a caveman could do it, that is to say, if you follow the directions via the manual and don't tighten all the screws before final assembling, all holes will line up. But what I am must impressed above all is the customer service of OS.com, in that one of the wood backrest had a slight crack, went to live chat, live chat address the concern, processed the concern and a few days later, sent me a new wood backrest. So big up's to all of the customer service.
The stools are really nice and look really good at our Island in our New Kitchen. They are everything that I expected, from reading about them. The only problem that I have with them, is the holes for the screws, do not always line up, and can be very frustrating. There was a point in putting them together that we were ready to throw them out the window, as it got very frustrating because of the screw holes not lining up. All in all, I would buy them again. If you buy these stools, go into it knowing that you will have challenges with the screw holes.
