The longest length is 20” from edge to edge and the shortest width is 13 ½ “ from edge to edge. overstockcustomercare1 on Dec 12, 2012
 
 
the previous answer is not an answer. I need to know width and length. Length is accross the longest points, width the shortest length accross. "Diameter" is used for measuring across a round or circular item, not an oval. contractor1952 on Oct 27, 2012

Althought the item is oval, the dimensions are correct. The item is round so it has a diameter.  on May 17, 2012
