Works well. Looks good. Just what I needed. They are attractive and airtight. I may get another set!

The overall appearance is very nice. Would have perfered the jars to be a bit larger. My low rating is based on one of the jars being broke when I opened the box. OverStock did a great job in sending out a replacement very quickly. However, when it arrived I never opened the box as I could hear the glass jar was in 1000 pieces. Called back and again OverStock sent out a replacement. It has arrived and is not broke. The glass jars are just not constructed using thick enough glass. Canisters in a kitchen with hard granite counter tops are going to get banged around some. It will just be a waiting game as to when one of the other canisters gets hit and breaks. Will not be covered under warrenty at that time and the canisters will become useless. I have had to fill them with decorative items instead of flour, sugar and such as everyday useage is not an option as they are so breakable.
