I had decided to decorate my kitchen in roosters, going with a country theme. I saw these on overstock and decided to purchase them. From the picture they look like a cobalt blue, but when I received them they were a dark green. That didn't matter they are beautiful and the detail of each being hand painted. I also purchased the serving platter, salt and pepper shakers. I was not able to purchase the fruit bowl, I will keep my eye on overstock and hopefully purchase it later. I'm sorry, I didn't really like the dinner sets (I bought two sets.) I know I'm stuck with them, but I thought the colors were too harsh...too dark for my taste. The're ruffly handed painted. I have not used them yet, but they seem to be durable.

I love these dishes. I had been looking for rooster dishes for awhile. These are very vivid in color. The trim is hunter green not navy as it looked on my screen, which is what I wanted. Very elegant, I love them!!

Nice set overall. One bowl came with a chip. Family enjoys the pleasing Rooster design.

I purchased the whole set for my kitchen remodel and was very happy with the appearance of all the hand painted items.. The ceramic is thick and the colors are perfect.
