4.2 out of 5This arrived in good condition and with all parts. Assembly was not easy but can be done in about an hour. Be careful not to push in the twist fasteners too hard or turn them too forcefully with a screwdriver - the first two I put in made the particle board bulge slightly which is not a good thing. Fortunately it was on the inside of the bottom piece which is hidden when assembled. After that I was gentle with them and had no more trouble. The parts all fit reasonably well with a bit of jiggling. Don't tighten one side of a part before the other, or you'll have crooked parts - use the lug nut technique and alternately tighten them a little at a time. The piece looks nice though it's obvious that it's particle board. We'll have to see how well it holds up with repeated opening and closing and the humid conditions in our bathroom. The spring hinge is quite tight and it takes two hands to open the hamper door without having the unit slide toward you across the floor. I would also wonder if the particle board will absorb odors from dirty clothes and towels. I would not put wet towels in it. The hinges seem too light for the job and if the tiny screws ever pull out of the particle board, you'll pretty much be done.Overall if you're careful in assembly this is a unit that should serve for a few years before it gets ratty and has to be thrown out. If you're not careful, you can ruin it during assembly pretty easily, I'm afraid. We got it primarily to fill an empty spot in our new bathroom and it serves that purpose well. It won't hold a lot of clothes and won't take much rough handling.
I had an older wide wicker laundry hamper in my laundry room in brown. My cupboards in the laundry room are all white. I wanted something different and something that would match the cupboards. I bought this and a small Virgo cabinet with a glass top door. This hamper was easy to put together however some of it was already assembled (hinges in door) Everything worked out fine except these hinges that were already on. They were very loose and would not tighten. After we assembled it, the door was very loose and opened crooked. My husband had to look for some small screws to replace what was here. Other than that, it looks nicer than the old wicker one.
Got this to go with a small cabinet to go in my apartment bathroom. The structure is nice, but it never opened and closed like it should. Unclear if there was a missing part of hardware or if the hinge sent was backward, but this never worked properly....ended up getting another more functional hamper. With properly functioning hardware would be nice, which is why I gave it an average rating.

This little hamper is great. It was easy to assemble and works well. The door is a little hard to open but once the hinge loosens up it will be fine.

I am using this not as a hamper but as a recyling bin/table for the very small foyer in my condo (which is basically one step away from my very small kitchen). It does the trick so far! (I've had it about a month). The hinge is not a dinky wimpy one either, so I think it will hold up well over time.

We redid our bathroom and purchased this line. It was perfect. Plenty of shelving space to accommodate what is immediately needed. The only reason it does not get excellent is you pay for what you get. This is pressed wood. Therefore, if you ding it, you will need to put some paint on it to cover it up and white is hard to match. Regardless, this fit my budget and as a matter of fact, it helped us to sell our home. Our bathroom was up to date and the buyer begged us to leave this with the home. In addition, with this piece, we did a makeshift and used it with a hole in the floor that goes down to the basement. We just cut a hole into the piece in the middle and then put tiling up the sides. Wahlah .... we had a laundry hamper with a never ending bottom. ;o)

Worth every penny. Super easy to follow instructions, every piece clearly marked, no missing screws or parts and everything fit perfectly. Highly recommend.
It is very easy to put together and looks great. Small but sturdy design.
The hamper looks exactly like pictured, however, it is extremely hard to open/close and I'm not sure if it will 'loosen up' with use but the difficulty in opening it concerns me. Would like to know if anyone else experienced this problem. I just don't think a hamper door should feel so 'heavy'.
I used to have a mesh hamper in my apartment right outside my bathroom in my studio apartment and so whenever I had guests they could see all of my intimates. I really love this hamper mainly because it doesn't look like a hamper. I was hoping it would come with some sort of lining on the inside so I'm not quite sure how it will go when I actually have to do laundry but it fulfills one of the main reasons I purchased it. I keep a vase of flowers on it and no one suspects that its the holder of my laundry.
I purchased this for my daughters room. It's perfect, just the right size for a little girls room. I'm so glad I purchased this item. It's very sturdy and the quality is nice. A very nice piece of furniture. I would recommend this to everyone.
This hamper is described perfectly. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble. I left the hinge off though so it would open wider. It's just what my guest bathroom needed.
Nice piece for a good price. Took just under an hour to put together. It was REALLY easy to put together because everything is labled very clearly, and the directions are easy to follow... jut a lot of parts. it matches the white furniture in my bedroom, so I'm really pleased with how it looks.
easy to assemble, study, holds several pieces of clothing. looks geat
It took me an hour to assemble. The end product was a little unbalanced and I have to hold the unit when I open and close the door so that it doesn't move around.
Nice-looking, sturdy piece. Took about 2hrs to put together.
Love it. Will hold more clothes than what appears.Looks very elegant. Great addition to my bathroom.
Works for what I wanted. I bought this and the Rope Linen Tower (which wasn't as 'towering' as I thought) so I stacked it on this hamper and it works and looks great. To the comment from Maria7s about the door being out of square and rubbing, mine did this as well. Open the door, put some pressure sideways (to slightly bend the hinges as needed) and voila! All better. Doesn't seem to hold too much but more than I thought at first. It's just enough to keep laundry from stacking up. My 5 year old wants a hamper in his bathroom now.
