I needed to get a cookie jar for my kitchen counter. My father-in-law, who is 94, picks at cookies all day so I wanted something nice and big that he could use frequently. The coloring, size and appearance are beautiful. The lid seals nicely. Pricing good as well. Paula

This cookie jar is bigger than I thought it would be and the wokmanship is of great quality. All of the pieces match which I find hard to do when looking for handmade pieces. This set is a great addition to a Tuscan decorated kitchen. I purchased the whole set of dishes, shakers, and the jar for my new kitchen and they look wonderful.
