This is a really nice file cabinet. My only complaint is that the inside has the files hung from front to back, but not all the way to the back or front - it severly limits how many files you can hang in one section. I thought the files would hang side to side. But it looks good and functions well. My husband bought one for his home office too.

I was able to assemble this file with no problems. I was only disappointed that a few of the outer pieces had minor packing damage. I am fairly handy and repaired these parts since they did not affect the workmanship strength. This is a piece that is inexpensive so overall it is a good product. The file drawers have very good slide mechanisms.

i bought the file to store regular files. the trouble is that the bottom of the drawers are very weak. if you use hanging files this unit will work well for you. it appears to be very solid on everything but the bottoms. it is not strong enough to fill with ordinary files. no where on the add did it draw that distinction.

The lateral filing cabinet looks good after assembly.So far I am happy with it The only thing that would have been better if they had made the assembly instructions a little clearer and easy to understand.One had to look at the diagrams properly to go about it the right way.I would recommend it to people if they are patient and do not mind taking the time to assemble it.

We love this file cabinet! It is not only beautiful, but has held very well for us even under a full load of files. We have stuffed it to the max, and it has given us no problems. We have owned it for about half a year. It was the best price we could find anywhere online for a lateral file cabinet.... and the free shipping saved us a lot of money as well :)

I thought for the price the cabinets would look a little more high quality. They went together very well, and the look fine, I would hoping for more of a wood furiture product. But they do the job and look nice of our office.

The file cabinet is loose and flimsy and could be better built.

This product fell apart when assembling. The partical board broke in 2 different areas where screws were inserted. We basically had to scrap the whole thing. It was a waste of ***. I could have gotten an all wood nice piece of furniture for that kind of money.

The file cabinet arrived in good condition and was well packed. Pieces were clearly labeled. The assembled cabinet is gorgeous and works well! The instructions, however, were a challenge and it takes some knowledge of furniture assembly to drill some of the holes and to figure out what the directions are really trying to get you to do. Be patient, work carefully and don't expect to put it together in half an hour. The finished product is worth the work!

I received the shipping on time. Verified contents as complete. Instructions were fairly easy to follow. Quality of fiber wood and wood product is very good. Finished product looks vert nice and matched what the picture looks like online.

Very happy with the cabinet, but seems like a struggling six-grader wrote the assembly instructions.

Very nice cabinet for the money. Sturdy attractive. Took a bit of time to put it all together, but it came with all the parts, fairly easy to assemble with two people.

Although it looks nice on the pictures online and from a distance, this is not a quality buy. The veneer is nothing but paperboard and about as thin as contact paper and cracks really easily. A 3-shelf bookcase of this quality might go for $30-50 in a brick and mortar store. Assembly was not too bad, doing it myself took about 2 1/2 hrs. Knowing what I know now, I might have bought it again only if it were priced at about half the current asking price.

Even though the cabinet came in a bazillion pieces, it was fairly easy to put together. It's also a very strurdy piece and a larger than we anticipated. It's perfect in my husband's remodeled office. We are always impressed with Overstock's speedy delivery!

Very easy to put together, especially if you use a drill on some sections(even though they say not to). Directions were pretty easy to go by. Nice looking and stable product-key only locks the top. Only compliant the product could be a bit bigger.

We think tthis is a good deal for a Lateral wood file cabinet.. Thought it was fairly easy to assemble. Only the file drawer hanger system was a bit hard to follow for the assembly. The rest was very straight forward.

I would have NEVER ordered this piece of crap if I had known it was predominately particle board! Not only is it cheaply constructed, but it also requires much effort at assembly. It is not worth the money or the effort.
