product arrived with some dings and the magic marker to fill the scratches is barely adquate. Moulding for side of book case is 1/4 to 1/2 short so there is a gap between the moulding across the top and the bottom. Would have appreciated easier access to assembly instructions (you have to unpack the whole box to find out what tools you need) particularly if you had the item delivered to an address that was different than the assembly location. Fairly easy to assemble but some screw holes not started and requires 2 people to hold parts together during assembly.

I ordered 1 bookcase to see how it looked and how it was made before ordering more. The bookcase has a dark cherry color. My husband put the bookcase together without any difficulty. We did not have any issues with the sturdiness of the bookcase. There's a stationary shelf that makes the bookcase sturdy. We ordered 4 additional bookcases and are pleased with them. One bookcase had a couple of small chips but it was not an issue since a touch pen is included. Overall we are please with the bookcases.

I would not recommend this product !! It has a cardboard back, it wobbles, and the assembly is cumbersome and not good quality. I had to put extra support on the sides to prevent it from swaying. The cherry color is beautiful and if you don't look closely at it, it is attractive for the price

My wife and I ordered this book case and received it within a week. When we opened the box, we noticed a huge scratch on one of the main panels. Thank heavens they provided a touch up marker that covered the scratch pretty well. Upon completion of the assembly, the front panels did not align as nicely as a would have liked them to. Overall, it is a beautiful book case for the money.

I am very pleased with the bookcase and plan to order one more if available.

This bookcase is quite solid, easy to put together (did it myself), and the color is beautiful. That being said, when I received it there were a few pieces that had chips in them, but fortunately those areas were all hidden once I put it together.

This bookshelf is serving it's purpose. It took a little while to put together. You get what you pay for here. I wonder how long it will hold up over the years, I don't think it's an item I will have forever. I like it for now, but I am not sure if it will fall apart or not when I move and it's moved around a lot.

These were a bit of hassle to assemble; need to carefully look at piece numbers. Spouse had bottom and mid selves reversed initially and case WOULD NOT go together that way. Once corrected, was easy. THese are a good height to allow pictures or curios to be placed on top. It is just fiberboard and a paper wood coating, so be be careful in assembly for scratching the finish. They work for us in the living room, flanking the couch.

I was delighted to get exactly what I was looking for.The representation in the description promised just what was delivered,It is a good quality,good color and easy to assemble.It has a true cherry color with very attractive trim which produces a superior home for books.

This is a Gorgeous bookcase, the picture did not do it justice, it is down right elegant. This item was not hard to put together but it is very heavy, when they say 2 people to stand it up, they mean it. I am very impressed with the quality of this book case, I will be buying 2 more, later this year, so I can get rid of my old ones. This is a beautiful piece and if you like quality, your home should have one or two.

This piece is a huge pain to assemble and when assembled, looks cheap and low quality. Many of the parts do not even have the same measurements as their corresponding parts. Shelves that are supposed to be seated squarely are all wobbly because the holes have all been drilled at poorly measured distances. I spent 3 hours of my day putting this thing together to have at the end a wobbly, un-square disaster. They sent with it a marker to fill in any blemishes. I wondered why at first, but now I get it. The thing is covered with dings and nicks. Seriously....not worth it.

Bought to hold memorabilia for an older style room. Fits in great, has very good accent front and with hidden spot on top, mounted a reflective light - worked out perfect. I put together first time, and it was a little shaky. Took apart and put TiteBond on all joints - real stable. I will get another of these.

The shelves were nice, great color and fairly sturdy. I would definitely buy them again.

I purchased three of these Classic Cherry Bookcases and have had them in my living room. They are really gorgeous. They add a touch of elegance to the room for a fraction of the cost compared to other places to buy from. I am really pleased with this product and would recommend them to my friends or relatives. They are a great value for the price. Packaging was really good, and they arrived fast for a large item.

I like this bookcase don't get me wrong, but I thought for the price it didn't seem as sturdy as I would have liked. However, once the back is nailed on it got much better which i didn't think would happen. But know that it's not the most sturdy thing in the world. if I had kids, I might be a little more nervous, but for our guestroom/office, it's fine and looks really nice. Also, you will need two people to put this together.

Instructions easy to follow and contained all parts and pieces. The laminated cabinet looks expensive and displays beautifully. It was just what I needed

Needed a second bookcase to closely resemble one I already have. Am happy with this one -- nice and solid too. Can't beat the price nor the service from Overstock!

This looks very nice for the price. I wanted something affordable that didn't look cheap, and that is what I got. I'm not wild about the flat reddish brown color and would have opted for a different shade had I been given the choice, but it does look true to the picture.
