Installed these for a set of thermal-lined microfiber drapes with grommet-tops. The drapes provide nighttime and very cold weather cover for south-facing passive-solar window wall. The rods are pretty and strong so the drapes open and close smoothly and quickly. Needed some more of the same, recently, and were still satisfied - consistently good product.
the product was very well described it was a little more light weight than I thought it would be but for the most part I was still happy with this item. I would purchase again from overstock and find I do make visits to the sight often to see what maybe available at reasonable price with good quality

I need a rod that is 165" long. can two of these rods be combined to make it 165" long?valdes00 on Sep 14, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Thank you for contacting us valdes00. 2 curtain rod sets can be purchased to create a 165 inch rod.
For example, you may purchase 2 sets of 48-84 inch rods. The maximum length of these 2 when combined would be 168 inches.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.overstockcustomercare1 on Sep 21, 2013
You could not buy two sets and connect as the ends would prevent you from sliding them together. Seems that you would require one that is 165 " long.emmahn on Oct 9, 2013
How many clips do you need to hang a drapery that is 78" wide.(84"pair)?all4us on Apr 2, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Hello all4us, the general rule is to place a ring every four to eight inches. Taking into account the weight is also important. The heavier the curtain the more rings. Thank you for shopping with us!

Is this rod style available in the longer length? on Sep 22, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Unfortunately, the longest length we have for this item is 84-120 inches.overstockcustomercare1 on Sep 25, 2012
Would the 84" ones be strong enough to hold insulating drapes which are rather heavy? No sagging, bending, or giving out with heavy use over a sliding glass door? Are there extra brackets to support the weight?78catfamily on Aug 29, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
This curtain rod includes three brackets. We can''t assure you that this item is strong enough for your type of application. If you want more support, you should be able to get more brackets from a hardware store.overstockcustomercare1 on Aug 29, 2012
Could the mounting brackets be hung from ceiling and still hold the rod in place?wwjk on Jun 17, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Since the rods do not clip in securely to the brackets they would at the very least require modification so the rods wouldn't fall out. It could quite possibly require different brackets entirely.overstockcustomercare1 on Jun 21, 2012
