The bed and the nightstand are pretty. The bed was easy to put together- my husband and I assembled it in 30 minutes. IT IS GORGEOUS. The only criticism I have is that the wood on the head board and footboard panel is quite thin. I never lean on it to read or anything for fear I would put my head through it. Also, I added 2 slats of plywood under the mattress as the wooden legs did not seem enough support. Otherwise, a very pretty and reasonabley priced set. Oh, one more thing. I wish I could get a second nightstand! Overstock does not sell them separately.I did order one locally (in Claremont Cherry) since Overstock does not sell nightstands separately and when it came from the other place it did not match, as it was a true Cherry,with different pulls, and the one from Overstock is more carmelly or Ambery, with much prettier pulls. I like the Overstock color better. I wish they sold nightstands. Overall, I would recommend, and it is worth the price. Hope this review helps!

The bed is very beautiful and well made. Doesn't squeak!!! The color in the picture is accurate for the bed, but the night stand is a little bit lighter than the picture. Overall, i love it!!!!

Took my son and grandson about 5 minutes to carry it upstairs and put it together. It is sturdy and beautiful.

These pieces of furniture are great looking. My friends visited me and thought that I spent a lot more than I did. The bed is very sturdy and so simply to put together. The side table has a hidden drawer which is a nice place for valuables. I did add some extra slats for the bed support but I am not really sure whether it needed them. The bed frame appears to be well built.

This sleigh bed is great! Also a good value and looks great in my bedroom. It was slightly hard to put together but not that difficult if you have a handy friend to help. When purchasing a mattress and box springs, the mattress can be normal size, but the box springs needs to be smaller so it won't go above the headboard. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I read many review before making the decision for this bed. This is used in my basement for guest. Overall the bed is good. Nice looking, sturdy. One thing not perfect is the support wood which has been mentioned in other review. It is better to be painted. The other thing is the height. I bought a box spring and a pillowtop mattress for this bed. But the mattress got to more than half of the head board. It is absolutely not good. So I removed the box and let the mattress stay as I love pillowtop. Now I have to deal with the mattress decoration without the box. So think about that if you want to go with pillowtop mattress. I don't want to return the bed as it is not convenient to do so. If I knew it, I would prefer different bed.

I just received this set (and 1 of the dressers from this collection). I was pleasantly surprised to see the items in person. They look like something you would buy in a high-end furniture store... for a fraction of the price. Both the bed and nightstand are very sturdy and well-made. One bonus -- they came fully assembled! The stain is a bit lighter and has more of an orange tone than what the picture shows. It is still very nice though. Overall, what a great product for the money.

This is a good product at a good price. The overall quality is "good", although it is not a seriously high end piece of furniture. The bed itself appears to be sturdy and assembly was a breeze. The nightstand comes fully assembled. The dimensions listed are slightly off. The length of the bed is about 91" instead of the 98" that are listed on this page. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone who wants a nice bed on a budget.

I recently purchased the entire bedroom set and love it ! Each piece is very solid and the look is beautiful. The stain is a lighter cherry. Each piece is just as pictured. The price is unbelievable for the quality. I would highly recommend this set. From the time of ordering to the arrival was only about 10 days, and each piece was very well protected when shipped. I do recommend having someone to help unload the furniture- each piece is very heavy. The bed has wooden slats with wooden 1"x1" supports for the box spring, when assembling we left the end wooden 1"x1" out ( the end support was visible when used).

I thought that the bed and nightstand looked very nice and I am happy with my purchase. The wood stain was just a little lighter than i was expecting, however it still looks upscale. I have purchased the Claremont Armoire, I would recommend this furniture to anyone.

The bed was delivered within ONE WEEK. I had ordered an additional bedroom set from a local dealer that took 4 weeks to deliver. Needless to say this bed was up quickly with only 8 screws! The color and workmanship were perfect. I will inquire about additional pieces of furniture from this company. You can't beat the price and value.

The design of this piece is beautiful, too bad that the quality does not do it justice. The staining is streaked with some parts of the visible headboard getting no stain at all. The slats that support the mattress are unfinished wood that warped and the wooden 1" X 1" supports for the center of the mattress make it next to impossible to move and are visible on the finished bed.unless you get a bed skirt. I did not return these items or the chest that I bought with it because the restocking charge plus the shipping cost back to overstock were too high. One nice touch - the end table has a "secret" drawer built into that high molding at the top of the chest. It creates a nice jewelry drawer for you watch, cell phone, etc. at night.

I love this set. It is exactly as described and pictured. I have already purchased the rest of the set and would gladly recommend this to everyone!
