Very poor quality--very disappointed!
Where do I begin? Have spent most of the day trying to make it "work". The lower cabinet came with two left doors. Both side panels damaged, top scratched at front edge. Drawers difficult to assemble--but made them work. I have assembled many pieces of furniture over the years, but this is by far the worst. Upper hutch was a complete train wreck. Right side panel damaged and slightly different height than left preventing right door from closing. I noticed right panel also missing felt pads and had different style holes for cam screws (left had plastic inserts right did not??). Finish on right door unbelievably bad. Color of bottom panel way too light. I cant believe the manufacturer shipped this!! Many other issues. Hutch will have to be replaced. Do love the style, design and color! Spent good portion of day on assembly, will have to repeat process when replacement parts arrive. Overall, a big let down on a potentially beautiful piece. Haven't ordered much through Overstock, and I guess I will be finding out how good the customer care center is.

Good Price; Good Quality
The product is the exact color shown online. The product was delivered very quickly. Unfortunately, the manufacturer sent a few incorrect pieces and a few pieces had some damage BUT once I called to complain, Overstock replaced those pieces immediately and I received replacement pieces within a week. The product was easy to assemble, however, it is a lot easier to do with 2 people as the pieces are large. I definitely would recommend this product to others.

Assembly Nightmare
I have put together many pieces of furniture, this by far the most complicated. It shouldn't have been, -most of the holes that were supposed to be pre drilled were not, had to drill our selves. Screws missing, way too many pieces, should have came a little more assembled. Doors and drawers were not square, all the factory set hinges had to be adjusted. All of this should not have been issues for the price paid...That being said I do like the final look of it and the actual quality of the wood seems good.

Absolutely horrendous!
I wish I has seen these other reviews before I purchased this item. This may be the worse product I have ever ordered either on the internet or in person. The assembly- and I have assemble products for years- was absolutely ridiculous. Having to put together drawers alone should tell you what a hastle this was. In addition to the assembly, which I really did not mind...until pieces did not match up, doors did not match up, hinges were bent and prevents doors from closing properly, vaneers were coming off, one of the doors has the finish missing. It is a shame because the product has potential but the maker of City Chic as well as the folks at Overstock have clearly deceived me into buying what I thought would be a great desk for years to come. Now all I want to do take it apart and use it for kindling. I am so frustrated I'd prefer to not even tackle the job of the matching Hutch. Can't wait to see what fun that will be putting together.
