I have neither assembled nor put the fixture up and I won't for a while longer but it looks very pretty. You put the dangling crystals in piece by piece so I suspect that will be a while. The glass is a mirrored finish but it looks like you would see the light through it and the crystals are scattered and different colors. The length also looks adjustable so you can probably hang it close to the ceiling if you have lower ceilings.
I saw this same fixture at a large home design store for $350.00. It is so beautiful when hanging and I have had several comments about it. I agree with a previous review that it should not be described as "chrome". The hardware is chrome but the fixture itself is made up of four smoked glass panels with cut outs for the jewel-like pieces that hang from it. It is a stunning fixture and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something different than the usual.
Just to warn you, these lights were NOT what I expected!They are listed as "chrome" but were definitely more like mirrored glass...and there are little colored crystals hanging in the round openings (I thought they looked more like round jewels attached to the holes...) Maybe I'm just bad at reading the descriptions, but I did not like what I got at all! (Of course, I returned them with no problem, and I don't think there was actually anything wrong with them--they were just NOTHING like I had expected...) IMO, the product description and photos need to be re-vamped!
