Color is true to picture (dark brown), real leather (not bi-cast like so many), arrived in mint condition (and no assembly required). I was worried at first given the low price point that the mechanics would be iffy, specifically the top might slam shut. The top will actually remain open at ANY angle, you have to push it shut. With two toddlers that was very important to me. It's very durable, both my kids have already been IN it. Some reviews noted the storage inside was small, but that is because it's sturdy - the sides/bottom are thick - about 2 inches thick all the way around which cuts into the interior space. ROUGH interior dimensions - 8 3/4 inches high, 13 3/4 inches deep and 46 inches long. Overall, we are thrilled with this purchase.

Love the storage ottoman. Large space for storing all the extras in our RV. Price was below stores we had shopped for item very similar. Delivery was SO FAST. Totally unexpected how fast everything was handled and we received the ottoman. Will look at Overstock.com next time I need to purchase an item. Keep up the good work.

I needed extra storage space and this bench fit the bill perfectly. It is roomy inside and the cover is hinged so that it doesn't fall down. There is plenty of room for out of season clothes or blankets and pillows. It was a great price and it is a great product. I am very pleased with it.

I purchased this bench for my bedroom. Had to do some measurements and rearrangements prior to its arrival. It fits perfectly in the spot I had reserved, the measurements matched up just as I imagined. It's quite comfortable to sit on, and NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED! Took less that 2 weeks to arrive, I unpacked and set it up it myself (it's only 38 pounds). The only thing is, I expected it to be deeper on the inside. However, it should still serve the purpose for which it was ordered. I WOULD definitely RECOMMEND this bench. I chose it over another because it is leather, not bi-cast, so it should last longer. I found no flaws in the quality of the stitching. It did not smell bad, so I'm quite satisfied :)

I was the first to write a review for this storage ottoman and bought it blindly. I am very happy with it. It is sturdy and has ample storage space. Half of it stores 4 adult blankets and the other half serves as our daughters toy box. It works well to minimize the childrens influence on our living area. A large plus is the lid cannot slam shut when released. So no hurt fingers. True dark brown color sent put together and arrived without any scratches. Just take it out of the box and put it where you want it. You can sit on it and the right height to put your feet up. Seems easy to clean as well. Arrived 7 days after purchase

This ottoman goes perfect with the new bedroom set I purchased. When I took it out of the box I was expecting that I would need to assemble part of it, at least putting the legs on . It was assembled already out of the box. All I can say is WOW! I am so happy I decided to purchase from overstock. The quality is really superb and I am sure I would not have been able to find a leather ottoman for this price and quality anywhere. I my ottoman as soon as I took it out of the box, everything fitted perfectly. Thank you Overstock for a wonderful product.!

Although we have not had this long enough to speak to the durability of the product, it is perfect for what we needed. We are using it as a window seat and as a storage unit. The seat lifts and stays in place when open. I am very pleased with the product.

We use this in our living room/family room for the one and only coffee table. We put a tray on it for drinks and switch it to a seating space when people come over. It's very nice and looks more expensive than it costs. My only complaint would be that the back hinges show and I think it would look more taylored if the hinges were hidden. Still nice.

The Chocolate Brown Tufted Ottoman looks great, my only disappointment was the "short" 4 inch legs. I thought the legs were totally disproportionate for the size of the Ottoman. I realize the dimensions are noted in the description, but I mistakenly envisaged the body part of the Ottoman being 16" high, not the actual total height from the floor up. Am keeping the product and now have 8" legs that look much better.

This is a very high quality ottoman. The leather is a heavy gauge, great color. & perfect stitching. It came already assembled, therefore the legs are very strong. The length & height are exactly right for in front of the 2 chairs. I really am pleased with this ottoman.
