The stools look great once assembled, but assembly itself was a pain. On both stools, one of the holes that the horizontal bars fit into was smaller (the other holes were drilled correctly). Need some carpentry skills to get the bar to fit.

great counter height stools. We bought sea grass stools first and I loved them but my husband did not feel they were comfortable. These are a bit higher than average counter height but I like the height better. Very well packed and assembly is simple. If you can unwrap a childs toy from the packaging you can do this easy. i put 4 together in 1 hr watching dowton abbey. We have a 2, 4 and 6 yr old and they love it and they are easy to clean!

I bought four of these stools, and if you have put together any furniture these are not difficult to assemble. Just put all screws in and barely tighten,then gradually tighten each leg. The stools definitely look more expensive then they were, are comfortable to sit in and look nice under our granite kitchen island. For the price they can't be beat!

Please note that the wood legs on these stools are black. They are true black. The seat is a very dark brown, an ebony brown. One would get the impression from the description that the legs were brown.

Putting together took a little bit of time. The stools are sturdy and the correct height for our counter. The height was a big deal to us because the standard 24 in was to short and bar height was to tall. These fit perfect. I did put felt pads on the bottom of the legs.

These are fantastic for the price. While they are inexpensive they do not feel cheap. We use them everyday and they have held up beautifully!

Great counter/kitchen stools, very easy to put together, my boyfriend was going to do it but I got tired of waiting and had all 4 put together in under an hour. I did use a power drill to put in a few of the screws but could do it by hand too. So far after 1 month of daily use including a 7 yr old boy they are holding up very well! Easy to wipe clean with a sponge and very comfortable.

These were absolutely perfect for my kitchen island! They look just as great as the picture and are VERY comfortable! Putting them together was fairly easy. Only downside is some of the screws are as long as they should be and very easy to strip. Luckily we had some longer extra on hand. Don't let that discourage you, just be prepared, as the stools are awesome.

I have been looking around for counterstools and based on reviews ordered this product. The wood on the bottom of the leather cushion is worn and peeling off, while putting it together I got two splinters. I was unable to turn the allen key without getting them. Also one of the last steps is to add the four screws into the legs and two of them were stripped. Overall the style and product look great but I do not thing I would buy this again.

Very pleased, super comfy stools, perfect height, sturdy and good looking. The price for two was less than the price you would expect to pay for one. We use these everyday and are hoping to get many years out of them.

I bought one set to make sure these would be the right height for my counter. 26 inches was perfect, as we thought 24 inches was just a little short. The stools were fairly easy to put together. I put them together by myself. I did use a rubber mallet to gently tap the pieces into the holes in the legs. They didn't just slide in and needed a little force. The legs on one stool were pretty uneven, but I put felt pads down on all legs and added one more to the uneven side, and they're even now. I immediately bought another set since these were exactly what I was looking for.

Needed counter stools but did not want to have backs on them. Found these on overstock and it was exactly what I was looking for. The description was very accurate and the color was great. What I love about these chairs is that they can be stored & used horizontally or vertically, so rather than only being able to fit 3 chairs under my countertop I can turn them and fit 4 :)
