I hope that the table and chairs wear well as some of the other things noted in the description felt a little bit misleading upon personal inspection at delivery. Do be aware that when it says naturally finished they mean stained with a neutral colored stain that mostly obscures the wood. And when it says sturdy construction it does not mean heavy construction as the set is rather lightweight. And the chairs on the long sides of the table are an extremely tight fit. And since the picture cannot be enlarged let me also say that the metal tags on the back of the seat are not as classy in person, just tacked on and the tags and nails are not always perfectly aligned. However I am very pleased with the curvature of the chairs seat and back which seem comfortable to sit on (have not tried it out for any length of time yet as it is the wrong season). Noble House International (HK) Ltd. seems to be the brand as listed on the product tags.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color was not as deep and rich as pictured, and I was not aware that it would be stained with a finish that would mostly hide the wood grain (the print on Overstock said it was naturally finished). I would have preferred the natural color of the wood.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Decent quality, but some defects in the finish (especially at the tops of the chairs) and a few minor cracks in the wood near joined parts.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? I'm not sure how sturdy construction is defined, but it must not mean heavy in weight as the chairs are fairly light, though nicely curved for comfort. The picture also made it seem that the chairs on either side of the tables long edge would not be quite as tight a fit as they are. If I had known what to look for I might have noticed it, but there was no way to expand the image for a better look.
