Christopher Knight Home Leather Recliner Club Chair

This chair looks good on the surface, materials okay/acceptable. I consider it rather light-weight, so it's easy to move around and very simple to put together. Not crazy about the back flap but if you position it against a wall, no worries. It's reasonablyh comfortable and I was happy to find a smaller-sized recliner at a really good price to fit my condo. Most recliners are enormous and this is the only one I found that is pretty good fit and value generally. In fact, I've even fallen asleep in it, but I would caution anyone who is rather taller or has a taller torso to be cautious that it will support your head enough (for me at 5'3", it supports most but not all of my head).

Recliner was bigger than we expected for our small space. After sitting in the reclining position a few times, the back of the seat became loose and we were unable to fix it. It would not sit completely upright and one side kept bending backwards. We are returning the chair.

I needed a comfy chair for my home office that was converted from the front guest bedroom. As such, the space is rather limited with desks, files, office chair and book cases. Eventually, the office evolved to need man cave capabilities, and a recliner sure would be nice. After looking at several recliners here and other stores, this Christoper Knight Leather Recliner Club Chair seemed to fit the bill. The deal sealer was the killer price! On top of that, it was on sale and free shipping here at Overstock. Score! I am immensely pleased. The styling is modern and compact. I avoided the overstuffed grandpa recliner since I have limited space and find them hideous. I went in with the idea of sacrificing the cushiness but this is remarkably comfy, granted, I do prefer a firm seat. Seating width is ample and they were able to achieve the compact size by reducing the arm width to a smaller proportion. Leather smelled real good coming out of the box, quality is ok and think it will soften with time and maybe some conditioner. Reclining takes a little effort (plant hands on chair arms and extend back; does not use a reclining lever) but will hold firm if you want to lean back without reclining. Foot rest extends to support me at the Achilles heel (I'm 5'-9"). Minor peeve: when our 80 lb dog plants himself and leans against the side, he can the chair wobble when he scratches. I used a small table to block him...problem solved. Bottom line, its a handsome chair, fits the room, comfy and an outstanding value. Thanks Overstock!

I was looking for a good chair at a reasonable price. This chair fits my criteria and more. It is small enough to save some space. The chair it replaced was a wide, overstuffed chair and this one does the same job, taking up less space, and reclines. I am very pleased.
