After reading some of the reviews I found that a lot of people were surprised by the size of the chairs and thought they were too small. Before you order these chairs take out a measuring tape so you know the actual size - they give you the width and height of them in the description so you can visualize them before placing an order. That's what my husband and I did - we knew they were on the smaller size, but that's what we wanted because we did not want the table and chairs to overpower our dining room. My husband is a big guy and he finds them to be comfortable. We get lots of compliments on them too. At first I hesitated to purchase these because there were not many reviews, but I found the same chair in a white leather and there are lots of positive/helpful reviews that gave me the confidence to place the order. I ordered two chairs at first and then ordered an additional four. The best thing is that they come assembled and they are packaged really well. I was not disappointed at all when they arrived. My cat also really likes the chairs-- she will sit in them and then kick off with her claws leaving small scratches in them - thankfully you can't really notice them (it's not the chair's fault, but thought I'd mention this in case you are a cat owner). If there's a spill you can easily wipe it up without having to worry about stains and my cat's hair does not stick to them which is a bonus. We've had these chairs for 6 months and we're glad we purchased them. Great price and great value!

back of chair not as tall as i had before my sons cat destroyed the legs-lol but these chairs will work cause they r wood on bottom so no material for cats to destroy--anyhow guess i didnt read how tall the back is and dont recall even if it mentioned that--but also like that they came all assembled:)--everything from overstock i have gotten is GREAT!!

I love these chairs. They look very eloquent and expensive. I bought the whole dining set and love it but I needed extra chairs. The price was great and shipping was fast. Overstock always provides the best service!

Great chairs - delivered quickly and came fully assembled/packed really well. As noted in additional reviews, the chairs are like an inch shorter than normal height.. but it works in my eating area so I am pleased. Definitely would suggest these to anyone. They look much better than the picture and are just as good or better than chairs I've seen locally for $200+ each.

Nice chairs; we use them for a counter bar in the kitchen. I still don't know if they're safe for wood floors so added some of those "gliders" on the bottoms.

We use these seats at our game table. They are quite comfortable. The leather is of good quality. I would definitely recommend them.

These chairs look beautiful. Compared to our previous Ikea chairs, they are not as big and are light-weighted, which we do like. They feel sturdy, though only time can tell. We bought two chairs at first and wanted to make sure they were really what we wanted. After the chairs came, we were very pleased with them and ordered 4 more. For now, we are very satisfied with these chairs.

This is the best price I could find for real leather dining chairs. Chairs are a little smaller and the backs are shorter than standard dining chairs of this style. However, I live in an apartment with a small dining area, so the smaller size was acceptable. I just really wanted leather chairs, not all the synthetic pleathers that cost the same as this leather version. Shipping was on time. Chairs come ready to use. No assembly needed. That was a huge plus. The chairs also feel a little light. Not sure how well it will stand up to use. I just got them in December 2012. But I like them so far. Nice and cushy seats that are an upgrade from my last dining chairs that had wooden seating.

I was very hesitate to purchase chairs online. However, I have been looking for a very long time for something for my kitchen. The height of the chairs are low, but just what I was looking for. The quality for the price is really great. I did have a problem with one of the chairs. Nevertheless, Overstock was great in replacing the chair. I would definitely order again. I was a little hesitant to purchase these chairs because there was only one review and I already had Parson chairs that were too large for the room. I took a chance and I am very pleased. Keep in mind the size - they are NOT big chairs. They are NOT high like a Parson chair but they are really nice. They fit into my small room perfectly. They are black - true black. Hopefully the leather will hold up - only time will tell but for the price - I am happy.

The chairs are beautiful and a fantastic balance to the lighter chairs at the same table. Would have loved them a little taller since they will be on the ends but the look more than makes up for that. They are comfy and a hit in my dining room!
