    • Brown Reclining Chair

Chair came exactly when you said it would. It looks almost black instead of brown but that's OK. It looks great but is a little short for anyone over 5'5". It is deep but not tall when reclining. It's great in a bedroom since it doesn't take up too much space.

    • Worth the money

Pros: narrow, but not too small well constructed delivered fast cons: "slippery" when reclined (I slid down the chair while sleeping) back gap Overall, good bang for the buck. I'm buying a pillow for the back for the gap, love the chair otherwise.

    • Good Value (if you don't mind firmer)

This is a solid recliner at this value if you don't mind a firmer seat). As others have stated it runs on the narrower side so larger folks may not find this item as comfortable.

    • Not The Most Comfortable Chair

The chair looks good but it's not very comfortable. That may just be me but I'm 6'2" tall so when I recline, the back doesn't even reach my neck so my neck and back get sore. When not being reclined, it doesn't effect my neck but I slowly slide forward. I've had recliners before but they've always been comfortable. This chair might work better for someone with a height of 5'6" or less.

    • Good chair for the money

This chair is a good example of "you get what you pay for". That said, the overall quality is very good only the seat cushion is very hard. This is not a comfortable recliner for watching to or to sit in for a long period of time but it makes for a great recliner to take a catnap or read for a few minutes. I have it in my office and the more I sit in it the more comfortable it gets. I think the seat cushion is softening up some. I would recommend it because of the price alone. If you want a recliner for comfort this one isn't it but it serves my purpose. My wife and I shopped for a couple of weekends and I saw chairs up to twice as much money and they were no more comfortable than this one. Overall, I'm satisfied.

    • Very odd dimensions. Small arm damage, returning

There is a small tear in the vinyl on the top of one arm--as it came out of the box. I have to return it because it will only get worse. But I am debating whether to let O send me another because, despite the very good price, its dimensions are so odd as to be uncomfortable. How? The seat and back heights are good for a short-average person (I'm 5'5" with average leg length) but the depth of the seat from front to back is sooo long, 23", that a person with short-average leg length cannot rest against the seat back with feet on the floor. (By comparison, my husband's huge prairie-style leather recliner's seat is only 19" from front to back, and 25" wide.) Also, in the upright position the back is slanted back dramatically enough that it causes me to hold my head up away from the back, cramping back and neck muscles. I've tried a small back cushion and a bed pillow almost the size of the whole back, to not much avail. I read for an hour today in the 2nd position and now have cramped neck and upper back muscles. It's too hard to find a comfortable position. Like another reviewer, I cannot push back to recline when seated "normally," since my feet are not touching the floor, :) I have to scoot forward to use my feet against the floor, then it's easy enough to do. The narrow width of the seat is ok if you're not too big (I am no skinny mini), unless you want to "curl up," draw one leg up, or just generally use this chair like an easy chair. The arms don't feel sturdily-enough attached to put any outward pressure on them. My long-legged, 6'2" very slim husband is comfortable enough in the upright position, but when tilted back his legs hang off the leg rest comically and his head is not supported by the back. Looks like a giant in a child's chair. If the seat width and depth were reversed, 23 inches wide and 20 inches front to back, this small chair would probably be great! Although, I'd rather a back slightly more upright in the upright position. In short, this is better used as an accent chair for occasional use by company, not a full-time, reading, TV-watching easy chair. We may let O send us a replacement for that use because it does look nice and has a clean, contemporary look. Sigh. I had high hopes but my search continues for an attractive, affordable reclining chair that fits ME, not made for tall friends and relatives that I must simply adjust to. This is not it, alas.

    • Leather Recliner club chair

I bought this chair as a fathers day gift for my husband. The chair was very easy to put together, and looks great in our living room. The chair is more of an apartment size piece of furniture. Turns out I get this recliner and my husband gets the one we already had, which is pretty new. This chair is easy to recline and get back up with ease. Even though chair is smaller than expected, it has worked out really well, and I do not regret my purchase.

    • Fantastic chair for the price

I really like this chair, it is exactly what I was looking for without paying huge furniture store prices. Full recline is just that...FULL. I kept wondering if it would get to a point and tip over backwards, but it was solid. The seat and back are firm and supportive, not a "sink-into chair, but that is what I prefer. As others have said, if you are in the 1st recline position and want to fully relax while watching tv, you will need a pillow under your head, but I hold my head up without any strain. Really is a great chair for the price!

    • Just as I hoped!

Arrived before I even got the email saying it shipped. LOL Really. Daughter and I set up in 5 minutes. That easy. For granddaughters room and fits her perfectly. I am too tall to rest my head when I recline and I'm only 5'4". Firm support but good for an 8 yo. For the money I spent, I'm very happy and the grandkid said she likes it. Nuff said!

    • Is this chair made in China? Also, how far out does the reclined chair go in length?

      • Hello TexasRose, this item is made in China. Please see the first photo for this item fully reclined. Thank you for shopping with us.

    • What was the assembly that was required? Was it screwing in the feet or more?

      • Hello karen, yes, that is the assembly for this product. Thank you for shopping with us!

    • Will this recliner work for someone who is 6'1" tall when reclined without their feet falling off and their head falling off the top?

      • Hello dd, this item may have a 6 foot or taller person feet hanging over the edge some. Thank you for shopping with us.

    • What are the small plastic disks for? My husband threw away the directions before I could see them. Thank you.

      • The discs are for leveling the chair and eliminating wobbling. You place them between the leg and the chair. Simply unscrew the leg and place the rubber disc onto the screw and slide down to the leg wood surface. Screw the leg back on. Repeat as necessary to eliminate any unevenness or wobble. :-)

    • When reclined, does this chair "stay put" or do you need to exert pressure/force to keep it reclined? I ask because this is for a small, elderly person who would be incapable of bearing down to stay reclined. Thank you.

      • Hello geneva ayte, this is a push back chair. According to customer reviews, this chair will require some minimal exertion to bring the chair back to its reclining and sitting positions. You may also want to consider item # 13372688 - It has a side mechanism to engage the reclining position. I hope this information helps. Thank you for shopping with us!

    • Just received two of these chairs. There were no directions included but assembly looks pretty straightforward. My question is about getting the back all they way into position. The left side does not want to fully seat on either chair. The right side goes all the way down and locks in place. I have tried several times and several different things to try to get the left side to seat with no luck. Is there a trick to this? Any suggestions?

      • Hello Roninmich, we apologize for the inconvenience. The manufacturer doesn't have any recommended tips or tricks for this issue. If you are still having this problem with the chair, please contact us at 1-800-843-2446. Thank you for shopping with us! A.C.

    • Here are my questions, broken down, to read a little more easily. .................... What are the percentages of the following in your bonded leather, please?  For example, on the composition material of Bonded leather containing: 1.  ___ % shredded leather fibers  2.  ___ % non-leather substances.................... How am I able to tell if the bonded leather material, on your products, is bonded to: a.  the polyester? b.  or the polyurethane? on the face of the fabric.................... What  are the different grades of bonded leather?.................... Which grade is this, on this furniture? .................... What are the differences in the foam?  .................... For example,  I see 1.8, 2.0, 2.2?.................... What are the differences in the foam being wrapped? ........................................  Sometimes I read about it being wrapped  twice? ................................ Thank you.

      • The leather is not the problem. This chair is small and fits nicely in a tight place. It need full room to recline as it is not a wall hugger. The only problem is that the construction is not as sturdy as it needs to be. The way it is constructed there is no support for the arms except at the very bottom. Easily becomes loose.

    • Lovely chair, and I have read many good things, about this brand. Sorry, for all the questions, but it will help our family make an educated decision : What are the percentages of the following in your bonded leather, please?  For example, on the composition material of Bonded leather containing: 1.  ___ % shredded leather fibers  2.  ___ % non-leather substances How am I able to tell if the bonded leather material, on your products, is bonded to: a.  the polyester? b.  or the polyurethane? on the face of the fabric. What are the differences in the foam being wrapped?   Sometimes I read about it being wrapped  twice? Thank you.

      • Hello bessey, unfortunately, we do not have the answers to all your questions. The chair is reconstituted bycast leather, but we don't have the leather broken down into percentages. We do not have the differences in foam, but the foam that is used is TB117 which is required by law. We hope this helps and thank you for shopping with us.

    • I want to buy this chair for my waiting room , can it be set ( using zipties ?) so that it will not recline ?

      • Hello chathamman, We don't recommend rigging the chair so that it doesn't recline. There are similar leather club chairs, such as reference # 13483911, which do not recline and may be a better choice. Thank you for shopping with us.

    • What is the approximate length of the chair when reclined?

      • Hello, broncosfan1. Hope your day is going well. The approximate length of the chair when reclined is 57 inches. Thank you for shopping with us and please feel free to contact us again with any further questions.

    • Is the 33 inch wide measurement from the front of the seat to the back of the chair. The measurements say its 27 inch deep but it appears deeper than it is actually wide.

      • Hello, decorator12. Hope your day is going well. The measurements have been confirmed and are correct. Thank you for shopping with us and please feel free to contact us again with any further questions.

      • I agree with decorator12. I'm not sure if your measurements are OK or you have a different definition of depth.

    • Can the back be taken off if only one side locked into placed thank you

      • Hello, pdwade2. Hope your day is going well. The back of the chair is a little tricky to take off but it’s definitely possible. The back of the chair ‘clicks’ into place when you assemble it, by way of two metal tabs at the bottom of the reclining mechanism. The chair should be flipped so that the back is facing up. Peel back the fabric flap, and look at the assembly. On each side there are two metal tabs. These tabs need to be pulled out at the same time, while the back of the chair is pulled off. This really requires two people, and preferably something to help with the metal tabs as you might get hurt using fingers. It’s not graceful but whenever something like this has to be done, use butter knives, as they’re long, thin, strong, and not your fingers. Hope this is helpful. Thank you for shopping with us and please feel free to contact us again with any further questions.
