Avoid placing your furniture in direct sunlight and maintain at least two feet between furniture and heat sources. Aniline and Protected leathers are especially sensitive to direct sunlight. Use a professional cleaner to help resist staining and prevent overall soiling. For oil based stains, use a professional degreaser.

arrived damaged
I've called customer service and they are arranging for UPS to pick up the damaged ottoman' it arrived damage.. it appeared to have been damaged in packaging.. since the 4 " long X 2 wide " "splinter" was in the outer box outside box. while . the inside box and cushioning were sealed and well insulated: also arrived without an outside packing slip or an inside shipping invoice.. and therefore was not an inspector # nor any initials on any missing invoice... oops-- quality control. I was told that the item is suppose to be inspected before shipment -- --guess this one wasn't No worries however Overstock is contacting UPS and will send them a slip to pick up in 2 to 5 days and since the item was still in stock.. will send a replacement ottoman. overall (* without t any scratches, devits.. the product itself is a very smart/handsome piece I look forward to a replacement free of damage to use in my living room

It's not espresso color at all
It's very much black and very stiff on the cushion but the quality seemed pretty good. It's too bad I'll have to return it but the customer service was really good on returns. It's a heavy package for returns and shipping would costs a lot but since this was my first time purchase with overstock, he waived it and UPS will pick it up at my house. I'm very happy with the service even though the ottoman didn't work out. I'm still searching for my perfect brown ottoman.

Pleather Ottoman
Delivery was fast so overstock.com didn't totally mess up our experience but the product itself sucks. The photo online is nice but when we read leather on the description, we expect to receive leather. This is cheap imitation leather and it is going back. Thank goodness Overstock stands behind their products! I will say the product was packaged well though, for any consolation.

This items is satisfactory
For sight unseen this is acceptable and suits our purpose. Nice looking and sturdy though a tad dark if not a bright room. We would consider purchasing furniture again from Overstock.

Well built and packaged
The ottoman arrived well packaged in a very sturdy cardboard box wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap. Assembly requires bolting the legs to the ottoman which was easy to do. They even shipped a 14 mm combo wrench for that purpose. I'm 68 years old and easily did it by myself. I find the drawer very handy. It is the primary reason for buying the ottoman.

Absolutely beautiful
I was looking for an ottoman as a replacement. I didn't want to pay too much. Why - I have 2 cats. I really love this ottoman and look at it as a coffee table. It has a small drawer in it which is useful for the controls. The top detailing gives it a nice finish.

Usually like Overstock's products but not this one
The product was wrapped well and easy to assemble. The problem was once it was assembled and set upright on the legs it became obvious that the drawer does not close all the way and one end sticks out away from the surface of the base. I understand this is an inexpensive table made in China but I'm still disappointed in the defect. The quality and finish of the leather is good and otherwise it is a nice looking piece that fits our room well.

Great - but VERY dark
We bought this because our son had one too many close calls with the old coffee table. It was SUPER easy to put together - but is VERY dark. Almost black. It works for us, but i wish it was a little more brown.

Better Than What I Expected
I ordered this ottoman in place of a traditional coffee table. It is a nice alternative to a wood or glass table and it fit the space perfectly. My husband and I hate banging our legs into hard corners so the soft edges are much appreciated. The little storage drawer is perfect for housing the remote control and we now have something to put our drinks and feet on.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Love the rich dark color and that's what I was hoping for when I ordered it. The color is very dark brown and it's a nice contrast to our medium brown couch - giving the living room some tone variation. I love it.

Sturdy construction and good value
This is a great storage ottoman for the price with solid construction and a handy hidden drawer. The packing was superior to most furniture items I've order online. This ottoman was dropped over my 6 foot iron fence at the time of delivery and the ottoman was unharmed.
