This planter is quite large - almost 27 inches high. It has a wonderful antique style to it, but the paint has started to chip off after only having it for about 3 months outdoors. Be ready to repaint or touch up paint if it is used outside!
This urn from the Christopher Knight collection was an amazing addition to my garden patio. However, there was another item# 14228710 that was a complete failure once I asked for a return I was no longer able to right a review on it. Please beware. Always a few bad apples.
These are better than what you find at the garden shops! They have more weight to them and the color is right on! Can't wait till the snow is all gone and I can get these outside filled with flowers! Overstock.com is great! Fast shipping!
Bought two of these urns for the front steps of my home in November of 2013 -- I am writing this review in March 2014. After being outside the paint is chipping off the urns. One is worse than the other but its made for the outdoors so the paint should be weather proof. I would not recommend these urns at all!
Hello harbor9505, there is a drainage 'plug' that can be removed for good drainage. Thank you for shopping with us. overstockcustomercare1 on Mar 5, 2014
no but it does have a plug that looks like it could be loosened and removed. I will plan on putting in some gravel in the bottom for drainage and stability.scyankee156 on Mar 25, 2014
Is this item the same color as the picture (a dark brown/bronzy color) ?andreage on Feb 16, 2014Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Hello andreage, the color is described as brown, but it does look a bit terracotta in the photo. Three of the four reviewers
say that the color matches the image, so it should be very close in color to the image. We hope this helps, and thank you for shopping with us. overstockcustomercare1 on Feb 19, 2014
it is not a flat brown. More of a bronzy reddish brownscyankee156 on Mar 25, 2014
One reviewer stated this was not terra cotta but a dark brown? However you state it is terra cotta?norsk1 on Sep 30, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Hello, norsk1. Hope your day is going well. We are unable to say with certainty but if the reviewer you speak of received one in dark brown, it was the wrong item. This item comes in a "terra cotta" color. Thank you for shopping with us and please feel free to contact us again with any further questions.

Is this actually made out of some type of heavy stone, or is it some sort of plastic/resin/fiberglass that just LOOKS like stone?nowanna on May 14, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Thank you for your inquiry. Quartz stone consists mainly of quartz crystals (93%), processed through high temperature, high pressure and other procedures with fine craftsmanship.
