I bought 4 of these and they look great. Per some of the other reviews, I used wood glue in addition to the screws and hope that will give them some added stability. They seem to be of decent quality and the leather seat is very nice, but even after taking great care to assemble (maybe 15 minutes per stool) there was still a bit of wobble on a couple of them. Easily solved with felt feet, but if that is an issue for you, you may consider a more expensive or different option.

I love my brown leather backless bar stools. They add a touch of class to my kitchen bar. The seats are comfortable with a wider than usual seat. The saddle shape lend itself the the comfort of the stool. The materials are sturdy and assembly was easy. Eventhough it was recommended that 2 people put the stools together, I was able to do it myself. It was great that the tools were included!

I am happy that I purchased these stools. I looked for many hours on line at all types, quality and priced stools before purchasing these. I think they are a great value. They look more expensive than they are. They are comfortable to sit on, they are the perfect height for my counter and match my granite counter top very well. I think they are a good value!

I have been looking for the "right" bar stool for about 6 months. I decided to buy these stools as a fill in while I continue to shop for the ones I am looking for. I was so surprised when they arrived. They are very good quality, the material used for the leather is good, the seat is bigger than I imagined it would be and the construction is great. I purchased four of these. Fit and finish was very poor. Needed clamps to get the pieces to fit. Several of the pre-drilled holes were oversize so the screws just fell into the holes. There were paint or stain runs in the finish and quite a few gouges as well. The upholstery was sub par with wrinkles in the leather where they were upholstered incorrectly. I would avoid this product if you are truly looking for quality.

My husband wanted saddle type bar stools at our HIGH Kitchen counter, needed 29-30 inches high. We had looked at various stores, but he did't like either the quality or the prices. Easy to assemble, simply gorgeous. They were a little high for my kitchen island but that's my fault for not measuring first. Either way they are still usable and my wife loves them.

I bought these bar stools for my kitchen bar which sits behind the livingroom. I wasn't sure what to except having never purchased from Overstock.com before but I must say that these stools were absolutely beautiful. The directions say that you need two people to assemble these but I had no problems doing it by myself. The product comes with all the tools you need to assemble and once done, it is a very sturdy end product. I only purchased two but I will probably purchase two more...it was that good. I highly recommend these stools as they look very high end and worth more than the price I paid for them.

Seems to be of high quality and construction. Better price than anything I could find in the stores or elsewhere online. Also one of the largest ones I could find. Nice storage area. I use it in front of a loveseat and it is perfect.

The barstools look great - the leather is nice and comfortable, and it's a true espresso colored wood. One of the stools didn't have the correct holes drilled into them, so we had to drill our own holes to even put it together. The other stool, one of the legs was shorter by about 1/8", so it rocked back and forth. We tried to fix it ourselves as we didn't want to send it back, but it still rocks a bit. Not the best quality.

The barstools are great basic stools. Well made, sturdy and deep so they sit comfortably. The leather is what i expected in quality and color; i am a little concerned about the fitting at one of the corners but it seems to be holding up well and looks great. This fits our need just right- especially at this price.

Before I purchased the bar stools, I did a lot of research and read all of the reviews. Several mentioned using wood glue during the assembly process just as an extra precaution. By the time I got to the house during the move, our helpers had them assembled and said the screws seemed sufficient. I may put some on now that they're assembled just to be safe. The stools seem to be very well made. They are very comfortable to sit on. One of the biggest features that sold me on them is that they don't have a back allowing for easy use at our breakfast nook or the dining room without having to pick them up and turn them around. I didn't like the idea of swivel bar stools so these not only fit my decor perfectly, they function perfectly for the layout of our home. Another great feature is that they are adjustable. I'm not sure how that part works, as I did not assemble them and have yet to need to change the height. It's just good to know that if I need an extra seat at our gathering table, I can lower the bar stool to accommodate that table as well. I love them and would buy them again if the need arises. I highly recommend them.

I ordered two stools and put them together by myself (female) very quickly. What I noticed right away is the seat cushions were larger that I expected. Even though they are backless the stools have a full seat as if the had a back. They still fit under my kitchen countertop but not as well as the saddleback stools I had that I got rid of because they were very wobbly and unstable when someone sat on them. The quality of these stools seem very good. Im Curious to see if they will hold up over time or will the legs getting wobbly and weak.

Pretty easy assembly -- they include the tools needed to get it done. Hopefully they will last a few years while we determine exactly how we want to finish the room. You can't go wrong with these regardless. They are sleek and modern. Pretty comfortable too. We like that they slide under the counter and don't affect view of the tv -- while cooking, since they are between the kitchen and family room.
