I bought this for my boyfriend....we eat sushi all the time so I thought it would be a perfect gift! He really appreciates the aesthetic value of anything and this product truly has that! So he definitely loved the gift. In my opinion, it cost a little more than what you get....but the purpose was a gift and it fulfilled it!!! We used it once so far and it was fun....as far as the size of bowl for sushi I think it's fine. Soy sauce is a strong enough flavor that you don't need a lot on your sushi roll!

The soy sauce bowls are too small and light. I was afraid that it would splatter or get knocked off the table! I should have read the reviews. First item I returned from this site.

Very pleased with this item. The box was nice that it arrived in and they have held up very nicely. Would buy again for sure.

This item is poor quality. Not worth the money spent. I would have sent it back if I did not have to bring it to a gift exchange the day I got it.

I thought the set would be larger. It is tiny, not even large enough for soy sauce.

I purchased the set knowing I would need to transport the gift in a small motorcycle pack. The box remained beautiful and intact throughout the journey and it made a lovely gift.

This was to be a gift for my niece and her boyfriend who are very style-conscious. It arrived broken, even though the shrink-wrap was intact, and the box was not damaged. The set itself both looked and felt cheap. I returned it and was able to buy a gorgeous ceramic set, complete with large serving platter, plates, bowls, chopsticks, cloth napkins/jeweled rings, for under $50 at a local import store. The broken set was returned

This set is lovely! The box is gorgeous and can be used for storage of other items or just have it out displayed. I love it!
