Rug is a great statement piece. Color is much darker brown than depicted, but the leather smell and overall look is totally unique. Had some leather pieces shed but not as much as other reviews. Only tricky thing is vacuuming. Can't run standard vacuum over, need to use the bristle extension and waive over quickly or leather pieces get sucked into vacuum and stretch. Overall great value and unique, you will not find anything like this at stores.

This is the second leather rug I have ordered from Overstock. Love the texture it adds to a room. This one went under my very contemporary dining room table.

I received this rug and it was well packaged. The rug only took two days to get to me. I opened it and love it. The color is definitely chocolate brown. I have light colored flooring, my kitchen cabinets are chocolate brown, my granite is light colored, my walls are tan in color, and the chairs that I set on the rug are two chocolate brown sweep arm chairs with a small round brown wooden table in the middle. This rug gives my keeping area a very contemporary look. I absolutely love the rug and will order more for other areas of my house. Thanks Overstock.com!~.

I've had this rug for about 3 weeks. I love it. The color is described as chocolate. It is very dark, as dark as rubbed-oil bronze items, very little color variation in it. Mine is an 8 ft. round and weighs 42 lbs.It is on tile and does not move, it needs no pad under it. The description says it's about 2 1/2 inches thick, I don't think so, maybe an inch and a half. Many reviews warned of shag pieces being lost. It happens, I'm not worried. You'll need help shaking it outside, there will be no vacuuming, not even with hose only. Mine is in a high traffic area. As I said, I've had it about 3 weeks, not long but no problem so far. It arrived in a plastic bag, folded and rolled, there was no crease. Slight smell of leather at first, not bad. It's soft though you can feel tiny knots under your feet. It's still comfortable to walk on. This rug is different and that's why I bought it. Someone described it as looking like a pile of leaves. I would describe it as a pile of wet leaves. Your friends will love it or hate it. I think it has that effect. But love it or hate it, they WILL notice it. I'm glad I bought it, I think it's absolutely fabulous and worth the money.

I am impressed. Everyone that comes to the house comments on this rug. I make them take their shoes off before they walk on it--not because I am afraid they will damage the rug but because I want them to feel how soft it is. The only downfall I can see is trying to figure out how to clean it. Since I have found stray pieces of leather and it isn?t in a high-traffic area, I doubt using a vacuum will work very well.

I purchased this rug to place under my dining room table on top of a wood floor. Chair legs don't "slide" over it easily, because it's a shag type of rug. The deep, rich color, though, makes the space pop! The price was great and it was delivered in a timely manner!

I was looking for a leather rug, which are hard to find and also very expensive -I had never ordered for overstock, so I was a little unsure, but thought for theprice I would give it a try.It only took a few days and the quality was great - love the color and it fit perfect inmy sitting room, it adds texture and color - I am very pleased with my purchase !!!
