This set is great and extremely comfortable. Excellent quailty and color is how described - dark brown. The only thing I would mention is when you go to put it out of reclining position it is a little stiff. Hopefully it will loose up with wear. It takes some strength to put it back. If you have weak legs, this set is not for you. Otherwise, it is exactly what I wanted. I fall asleep in it every night ,it is so comfortable.
