Chocolate Leather Sectional Sofa and Ottoman

Couch just came, my wife and I both love it, but boy did it feel like an eternity waiting for it to come - almost five weeks from when we ordered it. My wife was going nuts! Now that it is here though, we are extremely pleased. The pillows behind your back are very soft; the ones under your rump are somewhat firm, but if you plop yourself down hard on the couch (like anyone would after a long day of work), it doesn't feel like you landed on a rock but rather absorbs the impact very well and provides gentle support. You can tell there is a lot of cushion between your backside and the supporting frame under the cushions. Definitely a good buy!

Received the sectional 2.5 weeks after I ordered it (and only because I missed the Wednesday delivery window by 1 day). I have been extremely pleased by the quality so far. You can see some of the individual markings (i.e. scratched, bumps) which are typical of aniline leather. It a bit less shiny/more textured that I have seen in stores, but still quite beautiful and durable. The color is darker brown than the lighter chocolate brown seen on the pictures-- we prefer this, actually. The sides of the sectional, leather match, seem indistinguishable from the rest of the leather surface in the front. The favorite spot is of course, the corner chaise, but with the ottoman, any area is very comfortable. My husband (who is just about 6 ft) notes that the back is a bit shorter than he would like, but I think typical of most sectionals. With the chaise or ottoman, it is not an issue at all! After ordering, the price of the sectional went down a few hundred dollars. Overstock was great at giving us back the difference without any issues.

First off, the picture is not accurate, as the color of the couch is definitely darker. The couch feels nice and has good support, it is a firm couch, like someone else described, it is not a couch you sink into. The couch can fit about 4 people comfortably. The price is not really a bargain, you can find other sectionals of the same quality elsewhere, such as *****. The delivery was great; they place the couch where I wanted it and removed the packaging. It took the full 6 weeks for the couch to arrive, I was quite nervous about buying something online without first sitting on it, but it turned out alright, I will probably give buying furniture from overstock another shot.

The couch is great. The process to find out where the couch was and also the condition that it came in was not great. Noone could tell me where it was ever and the customer service group was not polite at all. The couch however is a great value and very comfortable. Fits perfect in the room and great quality leather. The only downside is sometime in the shipping one of the legs got cracked. If you can find the couch somewhere local buy it there, but couch is great!
