Chocolate Bronze 46-inch Corner TV Stand & Media Console

The first console I received was not packaged well and was missing the hardware. When we pulled it out of the box, it was broken. I called Overstock and they immediately sent out a new console and scheduled the one I had to be picked up by UPS. Turned out to be a very convenient process. The 2nd one was packaged much better and had the hardware. Very easy to put together and looks fabulous. I love my new TV console!!!

The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is the hardwood used is pretty decent. Otherwise this piece of furniture is awful. Once assembled, the piece does look attractive and fits into the corner with our 47" TV quite well. The piece is comprised mostly of hardwood which is unusual for mail order, built-it-yourself type furniture and is actually the only reason I didn't return the unit once I opened the box and saw how it was constructed. Instead of using normal bolts and brackets like one might expect, the majority of the unit is held together by these terrible and cheap hinges. Essentially, the front panel and all the back shelving structure is one giant piece that is supposed to fold flat for easy moving. However, once I pulled everything out of the box, several of the hinges that held everything together were bent or broken and a few were pulled out of the wood so nothing opened properly. And they were such cheap quality I couldn't fix them. This might have been purely a shipping issue, but I don't think the hinges would have stood up to much use. I can't emphasize enough how bad the quality of these things are. I ended up pulling all the hinges out and went to the hardware store and purchased about $20 worth of metal brackets and small screws and essentially had to rebuild the unit from scratch. This is how it should have been built in the first place. Once rebuilt, the piece is sturdy and looks nice. Also, there were pieces missing. The wooden pegs that were meant to help hold the top on were all missing. I had to purchase additional small brackets to attach the top in a few places. And two of the screws used for the door handles were bent. I used pliers to unbend them enough to generally fit. As I said, there is a decent amount of hardwood which is the only reason why I didn't go through the annoying process of repacking the unit and shipping it back. If you are somewhat handy, have some tools like a drill to pre drill holes, and feel compelled to spend a couple hours and some extra cash rebuilding the unit with additional hardware, feel free to purchase this. It will actually turn out pretty well. Otherwise, I would spend your *** elsewhere as all the pieces that hold this thing together are cheap and dysfunctional.

This TV Stand is perfect! The wood color is a rich dark brown and the hardware is antiqued with a hint of copper. I ordered it on a Monday and it arrived on Wednesday in perfect condition. My son and I assembled it in well under an hour. The worst part was cleaning all the Styrofoam packing bits off of it. After my nightmare of ordering this item from another online store and being told it was on back-order twice, thus waiting almost three months and still no delivery of my TV Stand....Overstock rocks! I am thoroughly thrilled and pleased with my shopping experience and my new Leick Chocolate Bronze TV Stand!

Works well in our home but came with a piece that was broke read other reviews and people had similar problems however the piece that was broke was in the back and did not affect the look from the front so we kept it and I'm actually happy with it
