Great value! This piece looks much pricier than it is. Clean, sophisticated styling. Goodbye open shelving. Cords and cables totally out of sight. Corner design is a huge space saver. Smoky glass front panel allows signals to pass through with no problem. Terrific, expensive look. CAVEAT 1: This item originates in China, and has to make its way half way around the globe through a variety of handlers before it arrives on your doorstep, with plenty of opportunities for mishandling along the way. Mine arrived in imperfect condition, although the packaging showed no signs of mishandling. Three connector hinges on an internal panel were bent and ripped out of their sockets. However, this was not a deal breaker as it did not affect the overall structure, integrity and aesthetics of the piece. The hinges are part of a clever design to facilitate quick and easy assembly by allowing you to fold open the main structure. I dreaded the thought of packing it back up for return shipping, so I pounded the hinges back into shape with a rubber mallet, forced them back into their sockets, and continued the assembly. It was very easy to put together. I had it done in less than 30 mins. Pegs force you to line up the pieces properly so that everything is square. As it turns out, no damage is visible inside or outside. CAVEAT 2: Strong petroleum smell from the finish took about a week to dissipate. Keep 1 or 2 windows open if you can.

I absolutely love it! Perfect color. Very easy to put together. Works great! I have a small room where we needed this -- fits perfectly in the corner and holds one of those old 37" tvs. This was my first purchase from the O and I will definitely be back to order more.

For the money, I'm completely satisfied! Wasn't expecting excellent quality and neither do I consider it to be excellent quality. But it looks beautiful and I am happy I got it.

After I finally finished assembling this piece I noticed a crack in the front of the top piece. This is the second piece of furniture from overstock that arrived with a crack. Due to the hassle of returning these pieces (especially after assembly), I end up keeping them. It would be nice to get a piece of furniture from overstock that isn't cracked!

I'm so pleased with this TV console - it is perfect for the space in my living room. The product specs really helped me determine if my components would all fit into the cabinet. I measured everything. I fit a receiver, cable box, DVD player, and CD player all in the center section. No problem with getting signal through glass panel to activate components. Color is richer than photo on Overstock. Yes, the smell from wood finish is strong but I've had a fan on it for a few days and it appears to be dissipating. My only complaint is with UPS leaving box on front porch and me having to pull it up a flight of stairs. Small inconvenience for a great, functional and very reasonably priced piece of furniture.

The dimensions are accurate, but the unit looks smaller in person than when viewed on-line. In general we are very happy with it. It was easy to put together. Only negative was that there was an overpowering odor for the first few days, due apparently to the stain having just been applied prior to packaging.

easy to assemble right out of the box if you have basic mechanical/carpenter skill and good reasoning ability. my wife and i assembled this cabinet in less than 30 minutes which also included cleaning and installing the tv and some components

I am so happy with this purchase. Packaging was very well made so the contents were well protected with no imperfections on arrival. Assembly was a breeze (less than 1 hour). Much of the piece is solid wood, which is much nicer than I expected. The doors open/close solidly, not flimsy like some bargain furniture can be. The styling is pretty neutral and looks great in our home. Two minor problems: 1. Some of the hinges were not fully set into their holes and needed to be tapped into place before the cabinet sides would align properly. This seems like a quality problem that should be fixed at the factory. 2. The piece had strong off-gassing of wood stain/varnish odor for the first few days; plan to ventilate your house well during that time.

We wanted to replace a tv stand with a corner console. This was a great price for a nice piece of furniture. I hope the oder goes away soon. Easy to put together but very heavy so takes two to manage. We get lots of compliments on this piece. Would be great for TV's 32-37" but could hold larger one although not proportionate to larger size.

I appreciated the reviews of other shoppers before purchasing this TV stand and wanted to pay it forward and add my own . . . you get what you pay for and while this is a lower priced furniture item, you will get a lower quality piece of furniture, but for the money, it works in my living room. The package arrived undamaged and it was easy to put together. I was surprised by the fold-out engineering. However it was a little damaged as the screws holding in the magnetic door holder were hanging by a thread and pulled right out. Definitely not worth figuring out how to pack it all back up and return, but disappointing to have to repair a new item right out of the box. Once assembled, the stand is sturdy but I wouldn't put it through too many moves as it would likely not survive too much jostling. I love that the glass cabinet transmits the remote however I wish it came with a second shelf as my BlueRay player is down too low on the bottom and the remote sensor is blocked unless I open the door. Additionally, measure your cable box and other A/V equipment as my Fios box barely fit width wise into the shelf and had to scrape past the door. Finally, the off-gassing of the stain cannot be understated -- phew! Overall a nice piece for the money and a little more refined than you could find at Ikea.

I am very pleased with my first purchase from this company! Although the TV stand arrived damaged a replacement part was promptly sent out after a call to customer service...and arrived within a few days. They were very good at sending emails almost daily as to the status of my request. The unit was easy to assemble and exactly what was needed for my small sunroom. This product was amazingly simple to assemble. I was a little worried when the box arrived to me all torn and banged up but there was lots of styrofoam padding to soften the blows. Only a small scratch that took a brown marker to "add character". Great product!

I looked everywhere from PB & EA to all of the regular furniture stores. This was by far the nicest quality unit and the lowest price. I would have paid $1000 if I would have seen this in a retail store. It is that nice. Only complaint I have is the strong odor of the finish right out of the box. That said, just put a fan on it and open a window when you go to bed and it's pretty much gone the next day. All the way gone in 2 days. Great buy from O!
