Cheap
This shade is literally paper. The ends look raveled and the wood showing through the thin shade looks cheesy. This is like the equivalent to those temporary paper shades you stick on your windows when you first move. I mean I expected a typical, thin rice shade, but for the price they are charging, you would think it would be a little higher quality. I paid the $8 and sent this right back to Overstock. I have ordered A LOT of items from this site, and I've noticed it is hit or miss. Sometimes I am so surprised by the quality of an item for the price- great values. But other times, it is true that you get what you pay for. In this case, I could have easily gone to a big box store and purchased an off the rack shade for half the price that would have looked twice as good.
