Wonderful
 from texas,  Apr 14, 2008

These are a wonderful alternative to vertical blinds. This particular set gives an asian feel to the sliding glass doors in my dining area. I get lots of compliments on the new look. Probably not a great choice if you need them for a high traffic area or if you have children. You do have to move the panels by touching them (no wand attachment) and I could picture them getting dirty easy.

great and unique room seperator
from Vero Beach, FL,  Jan 1, 2008

its perfect for seperating two rooms (without a door) espcially if you have guest come and stay- it gives some privacy. Looks great- has an asian flare- the ONLY improvement would be the panels to be made of fabric instead of the heavy duty paper material- the panels can be qiuckly detached from the track and you can barely notice it (the track). Very easy to assemble. I would highly recommend. Very high quality for the price.

Very cool panels
from Motor City, USA,  Dec 24, 2011

These are awesome panels. They are exactly as described in the product description. They were easy to install! They work well in a sunny location to let light filter through but not heat. The only problem I've had with these panels is that after having them on my window for over a year in a very sunny location, the wooden bars on the panels have a tendency to become unglued, but are easy to reattach. I think the extreme heat softens the adhesive over time. Secondly, I would have liked the rail be longer so that should I want to see through the window completely, I could. These panels, on a sliding glass door cover one side of the door at all times. It would be nice if the panels came on 4 tracks rather than two and the rail extend out one panel length. otherwise a great purchase.

Sado Screen
 from PA,  Jun 25, 2010

I love this screen! The instructions were visual and not very helpful. Once I understood how it was supposed to go...no problem. I used it for a linen closet in the bathroom, actually cut the metal rod and used only two of the panels...so I have two panels for future use. If you are looking for something substantial, this item is not for you. I love the look of a shoji screen without spending a lot of money. This is a great bargain for the price!

AMAZING! PERFECT!
from Boston, MA,  Mar 14, 2010

These panels are WONDERFUL! I know it says it comes with four panels and the sliding bar, but we only had to cover one doorway. We have a closet in our living room, but there was no door to cover it. I just adjusted the bar to its shortest length and the length was perfect for one doorway. It comes with four inserts with wheels to fit into the sliding rail, but using it at that length I only needed to use 2 of them. The panels velco to the wheel inserts (it doesn't sound sturdy, but it really is) and because I only needed to use 2 of the panels, incase anything happens to one, I have 2 left over panels (because it comes with four). Also, it doesn't tell you this in the description, but the length is somewhat adjustable. The wood bars that run vertically on the panels are all glued in place, but the panels come with extra wood bars so that you can place them where you want on the bottom of the panel and then cut off the excess paper. Very cool and so easy to assemble. Very adjustable to all different lengths and widths. These panels are fantastic!

Light, simple to install, attractive. So-easy-even-I-could-do-it kind of installation. There is nothing bad to say about these.

Problems with the track
from Boulder, CO,  Jul 11, 2009

These panels are very pretty and replaced the yucky plastic vertical blinds on a patio door. The instructions were not great. We had a problem with the track, the panels didn't slide properly. Only one out of the four slid properly. I wasn't able to get a replacement because it had been over 30 days since I ordered them (didn't have time to install them until now). Since we liked the panels so much, and couldn't deal with the dysfunctional track, we hung the panels on a double curtain rod with ring clips. Looks great and very modern. The material is like rice paper but heavier. Really disappointed that the panels didn't run properly on the track, but I'm glad we could salvage the look with some creative thinking. Probably not a kid friendly item, not fragile but not hardy either and I agree with the reviewer who said they will show stains easily. Overall a nice alternative to vertical blinds. Check your panels on the track when you receive this!

decent
 Jul 26, 2008

i purchased the sado sliding panels to use as a room divider, not quite knowing how they would work - there is a rail that you mount to the ceiling with 4 screws - which is only difficult b/c you're mounting it to the ceiling (there's also an option so that you can mount it to the wall if you're using them as window panes). the material is like natural fiber paper - thick enough and not too see through ( you can see shadow and stuff, but it's not transparent) and they're attached to sliding panels by velcro. overall, i think it's great for my purpose as a room divider - giving just enough privacy. oh yeah and the bottom of the panels sort of float - so the panels waver back and forth.
