  • These shades are great.

    I got these for my french doors and loved them so much I bought more for all of my living room windows. They are light filtering and add a nice glow to the room. These are well worth the money and much more expensive.

  • Serviceable

    I waited a couple of weeks before writing this review to see if the shades would loose their frumpiness. But no. They are still creased and do not fold smoothly when lifted. I'm wondering if steaming might help, but am afraid it might have a bad effect on the fabric, which seems to be coated with something. The attachment points along the shade which affix the fabric to the lifting mechanism are secured… unbelievably… with those thin plastic ties ("T" on one side, "O" on the other") used in tagging guns to attach clothing price tags in stores!!! It's hard to see when looking from three feet away, but any closer it's a bit embarrassing that the face of the shade (yes, the side you're looking at IN your home) has 3 rows of 9 plastic "T" bars poking out!! As I said, these are serviceable, but lacking in quality.
