excellent shade--even though the sizing is off
This shade is really, really lovely. It's much more expensive-looking than you might guess from the price. The hardware is very sturdy (and metal), and it comes with screws. The up-down mechanism is smooth and easy to use. It does a beautiful job of blocking direct light without making the room into a cave--definitely filtering rather than light-blocking. The only thing to watch: the size was completely wrong! The inside edge-to-edge measurement for my window is 35", which is what these shades are supposed to fit. The shades themselves (without hardware) measure over 36" wide. Luckily, we could do a mount on the top windowsill, a little bit out from the inmost sill, so we could fit the shades--and they really do look lovely.
