These panels are the best alternative to countless sets of vertical blinds and flowing curtains for our high traffic patio door. They slide all the way across the track with ease. They allow light to filter through yet effectively block the blinding west view setting sun into the living room. I found they were tricky to put together, which is why I let my husband do it. I was concerned the bottoms might look uneven as I cut them to size by my inexpert self. Nope. They are just fine, and the bottom tracks cover errors making them look even. Not spectacular nor formal, they are still attractive, fluidly functional and come in a forgiving material and color, which equals perfect for our needs and use. Highly recommend.

I hung up my panels in a large sliding door. Door is over 180 in wide and had the traditional window treatment of vertical blinds;so last century,,yuck.When I hung up the vertical sliding panels the class in the room jumped about 1000%.We have heavily carved english colonial style furniture, almost gothc in style, and strangely enough the panels meld great, the room has a worldliness sense about it .The value is great,over 1/2 off prices elsewhere...Thank you Overstock

The blinds are not as gold as on the picture but it still is very beautiful and makes my room look bigger. The way the sun goes through the shades it makes the room so pretty... I recommend this product to anyone who wants to add a bit of luxury to their homes

These blinds are not the highest quality but for the money are worth the price. They do a good job of blocking the direct sun coming in my sliding doors. The color is true to the picture. They block a bit more of the view when opened than I wanted. If you want a good view out your doors for part of the day then this type panel is not for you. My husband hates them. The assembly instructions are the worst. Took 3 of us to figure them out since we had never put together this type of window treatment before. No words just misleading pictures.

I'm very pleased with my purchase--the panels are lovely and look like a window treatment that cost much more. However, the instructions are horrible and consist of a few bad diagrams. If you are easily frustrated, don't buy these panels and expect to install them yourself.

Great quality...sturdier and thicker to touch than I expected. It allows some light to filter in but yet you still have privacy at night when lights are on. It is NOT see-through. You can see shadows of object that are close by behind but is is not see-through. You can also control light by moving the panels where you want. It does the job just as I'd hoped. Also it was VERY easy to install. There are no words in the instructions, just pictures. If you pay attention to the specifics in the diagrams, you'll know which way to face each part. I am pleased with this product. The only thing I wish was different about this product is that I wish it was longer because my sliding door is a few inches longer than the 88 max length (but since I knew that when I purchased it, I have a work-around for that issue). Overall, I'd recommend it and I'd buy it again.

When I first tried putting the item together it seemed difficult, until a friend came over and simplified it for me. Voila! what could be easier. I had to alter the attachment to the wall due to molding, but it was very doable and the panels look wonderful. They are an improvement over a standing 3 panel screen I had in front of my sliding doors to the patio. These look much more flush, and they go beautifully with my eclectic global decor. Bravo Overstock.....another great buy!

These panels look modern and have a quality appearance. They work great on my glass deck doors that open on one side, not sliding doors. But I can slide to panels to the left and open the door. When the doors are closed I sometimes slide the panels to to the left and right and open up the middle to sunlight. The gold color is not as bright as the picture, which I liked better. Well worth the price. One of the metal sliders was not as straight but it was easy to bend it back in shape

The instructions for putting these together are in picture only. But, once you get the idea of where the brackets go and how to attach the panels it makes sense. They really do make the room look nicer and replace the old, nasty verticals.

Bought these to block a door way for a room that has AC. It looks clean and does the job. Also bought for sliding doors to block sun on hot days. Very pleased. Easy to assemble.

These look pretty good on the patio door. I would recommend. It'll be interesting to see how well they stand up, though. I did have to snip off some of the strings that unravel on the ends of the panels.

The rail sliding panels are great!!! They were easy to assemble. The look great at the window as curtains

I needed to cover a heater/AC unit that was placed in a small room which I used as storage, but then needed to convert into office. I chose these panels because they look almost like walls and they perfectly fit, so this side of the room now looks like another wall and all the room looks more like an office, not storage anymore. Panels slide easily and access to the heater is not blocked, either.

Installation Difficulty: Intermediate. 4 hrs. 2 sets of panels. Make sure your top and bottom panels are lined up on the appropriate sides. We used to span a 160" of space, my husband used extra bracket to link the two so it was seemless. Cutting the bottoms and applying hardware was time consuming but we applied two sets! Overall, the value is good, compare to ****' version...$900.00 Quality resembles *** to me, not too fancy, but nice. I think the amount of coverage or opacness (?) is significant, especially when they overlap. Overstock delivery was on the mark! Excellent for this piece, even with a tropical storm in the East.

I had seen some like these at my sister's although hers are cloth and heavier than these are. And I really liked the concept-to just slide the panels is so convenient. So when I saw them on overstock I had to have them as I moved into an apartment with old broken slatted ones. They were a nightmare to put up for two woman! The directions were not clear at all. We did enlist help though and got them hung after almost four hours. They do look good but my only complaint personally is that they don't let as much light in as I would like when they are pulled over to the side. Half of the wondow is still covered. They still are nice though and happy to have them replace the old ones!

I bought 2 sets of these panels to divide up my basement between some shelf storage and an exercise space. I was so happy to find these and how long they were. I was able to attached these to my unfinished basement ceiling and adjust the length at the bottom. I assembled these myself and they were up in less than 1 hour. I did have two missing pieces and contacted customer service right away. I thought for sure they would tell me I had to send the packages back but they just sent me what was missing! I have never had that happen with other purchases online before. Great product and great customer service.

Hated it. Too hard to assemble. Not gold more like tumeric/ yellow ochre.

We used them to replace closet doors that were not very flattering. They really changed the look of the room completely. Love them.

this was a perfect item to take the place of our old beat up blinds that didnt work good on our patio sliding glass door. thanx alot!!

these look really great,I used these as blinds and hung these from the ceiling .They make the room look much bigger,and modern,clean lines.The blinds are simple and look more expensive.My husband had no problem in installing these.
