I have been looking for the "One Knife" to use in the kitchen and this is it!!! I didn't need/want a whole set of knives for food preparation. The indentations really do make this knife slide through everything so much easier! It's not too big, nicely weighted and sooo comfortable to use! I have seen just this style knife alone for much more elsewhere. The steak knifes were a nice bonus and they are gorgeous!

great looks and style
i love chicago knives they seem to cut better than any other i have tried this set is spectacular and works as well as the wood handle chicago knives i have but dont leave them in the sink or they will get some rust spots on them overall a fantastic set and i can always slice an onion and remove any rust spots for knives that work this well they cut frozen meat in seconds awesome!!!!!!

Pros and cons
Pros: They have a very professional and flawless look that is unmatched. Handles well and cuts better than they look. Cons: I am not sure if they are sensitive to the harsh faucet water in LA, but mine had gotten spot rust on them. Or it could possibly be a bad batch I have.

Nice knives, especially the large one. the steak knives are great because the handle and blade is one piece so easy to keep clean.

Nice set for the price, they are sharp and holding up well.

overall the product works well, however the finish is allready begining to fade. I would recomend this product but would be sure to tell coustemers not to leave them in water very long.

Knifes
I bought the knifes for my personal use. These knifes looked and performed well but when I put one of the steak knifes in the dishwasher I noticed that it had some corrision. I contacted customer service and they were able to credited me back the amount for this problem. Overall I'm pleased with the customer service so I will continue to shop in this site.

Chicago Steak Knives
I purchased this set for my parent's anniversary. I was impressed with the presentation of the knives. My mother said that they worked very well and she was very pleased. We also received a free knife which my Dad has used to cut meat. He was also happy with it's performance. We really haven't used them long enough to know how durable they will be. But, everything is pointing to a good rating.
