I have been looking for the "One Knife" to use in the kitchen and this is it!!! I didn't need/want a whole set of knives for food preparation. The indentations really do make this knife slide through everything so much easier! It's not too big, nicely weighted and sooo comfortable to use! I have seen just this style knife alone for much more elsewhere. The steak knifes were a nice bonus and they are gorgeous!

i love chicago knives they seem to cut better than any other i have tried this set is spectacular and works as well as the wood handle chicago knives i have but dont leave them in the sink or they will get some rust spots on them overall a fantastic set and i can always slice an onion and remove any rust spots for knives that work this well they cut frozen meat in seconds awesome!!!!!!

Pros: They have a very professional and flawless look that is unmatched. Handles well and cuts better than they look. Cons: I am not sure if they are sensitive to the harsh faucet water in LA, but mine had gotten spot rust on them. Or it could possibly be a bad batch I have.

Nice knives, especially the large one. the steak knives are great because the handle and blade is one piece so easy to keep clean.

I bought the knifes for my personal use. These knifes looked and performed well but when I put one of the steak knifes in the dishwasher I noticed that it had some corrision. I contacted customer service and they were able to credited me back the amount for this problem. Overall I'm pleased with the customer service so I will continue to shop in this site.

I purchased this set for my parent's anniversary. I was impressed with the presentation of the knives. My mother said that they worked very well and she was very pleased. We also received a free knife which my Dad has used to cut meat. He was also happy with it's performance. We really haven't used them long enough to know how durable they will be. But, everything is pointing to a good rating.

Very good deal. The steak knives are presented in a lined wooden box which makes it easy to keep them in good shape and the santoku is fantastic for everyday use.

The Chicago Cutlery Steak Knives are very elegant. I always trust Chicago Cutlery quality will be great. Since my interest was in obtaining attractive steak knives that blend with my daily cutlery, I was pleasantly surprised at how useful the cooking knives have been. Very comfortable feel in the hand and no garlic smell on my hands after chopping! The only drawback is that I was hoping for a heavier feel to the steak knives, but these will work great! Especially for the price.

I really and truly feel the cutlery to very top class. The 7 inch knife is well-balanced and fits comfortably in your hand. The paring knife is outstanding as well. I also love the look, feel and sharpness of the steak knife set. Overall the entire set is so well worth the money. Buy the set,, use them, you will not be disappointed!

I received my order within a week and was very pleased with the quality and value of this product. I would definitely recommend this purchase as a good product and good value. Although I'm not sure if you can wash them in the dishwasher, I have. There is no information provided on washing instructions.
