Great knives for a great price!
These knives are attractive and work great. My husband loves cooking and I purchased these so that he would have a decent set of knives to work with. We were on a budget, so I chose these because of the price and because Chicago Cutlery has an excellent reputation. They didn't disappoint. That said, we are only amateur chefs.

Slice of Perfection
I shopped around at all the department stores and on XXXXXX, this product was $XX-XX cheaper on Overstock. Chicago Cuterly is a superior product, yes it has some name recognition, but is much better XXXXXXXX, I believe. The blade extends into the handle, the handle is not wood or has rivets that will rust. The handles are soft and all the knives cut like butter. I used to sell Cutco and those are the best knives, period, but if you cant afford XXXXX, then by these!!!!

Chicago Style...
The knives are pretty good so far. I haven't used them all just yet. I did think the set came with a built-in sharpener or at least a sharpening rod... Maybe I was looking for a cutlery set for too long and forgot which set I decided to purchase... So far, so good. I do like the block for organization also.
