I bought this for my fiancee for her birthday. Our bedroom is pretty small and she was bummed when she moved in that we didn't have her large vanity. It takes a while to assemble but it is no more difficult than any other of this type of furniture. Once completed I was pleased by the look and the size. My fiancee loves it and uses it everyday. Just as an FYI be sure you realize that the legs and frame are made of metal NOT wood. It still looks good and makes the item very stable.

disappointed, but i guess you get what you pay for. will be returning product.

Item is definitely overpriced. The quality is just average. The size is pretty good however for where I wanted it.

Very poor quality. Particle board holes were already stripped. Very obviously not worth the price paid and would not recommend buying this product. Too many pieces to dis-assemble and send back.

I am very pleased with the new vanity. It is a little smaller than I initially expected, but she is a small person for 15 and it fits her well. She needed a place to put on her make-up and do her hair, without taking up bathroom space. This works out perfectly in her room. This is a great product for the price.

Very well packaged and shipped. Really nice and sophisticated vanity. Be aware that there are a zillion pieces to assemble, but it takes about an hour for the whole process. I have a small area for placement and this worked perfectly. Very decent quality.

I wanted a vanity to match my cherry cabinets in my bathroom. This set is perfect match for that. I put this vanity set together myself and it took less than 1 hour to do. I would put the drawers together first next time because so many pieces are with the drawers. I love the 3 drawers and looked at furniture store vanities and all I could find was one drawer. The stool is very sturdy and the mirror is a quality mirror. I was going to make a vanity out of a desk and chair and I am thrilled that I did not do that but instead went with this vanity set. It is so nice that I can sit down and put my make-up instead of standing up. Yes, the legs are metal but I don't believe it takes away from the vanity. I wanted a sophisticated vanity and not a child's version of a vanity and this vanity is perfect.

I read the other reviews and decided to order this. I was very happy. Great price for a sturdy set. Not a huge fan of the silver shells but like a previous reviewer, I plan to paint them black. Initially, I thought I could just pry them off but that isn't really a good plan. The black legs of the stool and vanity are made of metal and so is the shell. Getting them off would be tricky. The wood is very pretty. I put it together myself and it was really easy with pre-drilled holes and an allen wrench.

I was somewhat apprehensive about the quality of this item. After all, how good can item be for under $200. I was happily surprised. It is pretty good quality. Looks nice. It took my husband about 2 hours to put it together. I would have preferred wooden legs, but the metal legs are sturdy and well balanced. Good value.

This is a very sturdy desk and fairly easy to put together. One of the holes didn't line up correctly when attaching the base to the desktop but it's a not a big deal. The corner of the desk had a slight chip on it from shipping and Overstock offered a $35 website or $25 cash credit. I love this website and I 've been happy with every purchase I've made through out the years.

I like the color, it goes great with my bedroom. It was very easy for me to assemble. Although it is not as sturdy as it looks.

The vanity set is absolutely beautiful! The actual color is darker than in the picture, but I've noticed that is usually true with most items sold by Overstock, so I was expecting it. My 17 year old son put the entire set together for me in 3 1/2 hours without assistance, so I'd say it is pretty easy to assemble. The legs are metal and the drawers are just the right size for cosmetics, brushes, etc. I am very pleased!

This little vanity is very pretty. I wasn't fond of the silver "shells", so before I assembled it, I painted them black. It went together easily and quickly. I put it together by myself in about 15 minutes. It looks great! For the price, this is a very nice vanity. I would recommend it.

I found it on Overstock at a great price. It arrived in quick time. It was packaged extremely well. It is a fine piece of furniture, nice wood quality and small enough for the limited space I have.

I brought this vanity set for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it! It shipped in time for Christmas. All of the parts were there and easy to put together. It's the perfect size and very sturdy. Looks like the picture you see on the site. Very nice!

I don't submit reviews for products I don't like, because I follow the maxim that if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. This piece is way better than it's price. Solid feel, easy to assemble even though it looks daunting at first, and a beautiful finish to the cherry top. Very rich looking. And, the bench is bigger than it looks. Excellent in every respect. And if you don't like the white shell design on the legs for the bedroom, just paint over them with some black enamel paint. I did.
