I like the overall look of the cabinet but it is made of poor material- one board was already broken when I received it, and the corners are slightly damaged. The doors do not close properly.

We just put the microwave cabinet together and it looks great. We found that the directions could be a little more explicit than they are. We also found out that there needs to be more nails supplied for the back of the cabinet. All in all, it turned out just fine.

I searched several stores and Overstock.com had the best value including shipping charges. After reading some of the reviews I was skeptical but decided to try it after all. My son assembled it for me. He said the directions were poor but he was able to put it together in about 3 hours with no help. It looks nice and is functional.

Summary: If you manage to get all the pieces intact, it's not so bad. Pretty good for a college / young adult room - to be used for a few years before throwing out. It's not lifetime-worthy furniture. Arrival: I received a large box within which was a smaller large box within which were all the parts. It was very heavy. I received a broken part and several of the parts had dirty looking edges and were scuffed. See for yourself: ******** Assembly: I found the instructions pretty comparable to instructions from Ikea. Thankfully, the broken part was for the drawer so I was able to put the actual cabinet together. It took the entire afternoon and part of the evening. I'm a girl and I started on my own but eventually enlisted the help of my brother. Additional hands DO help, especially since it's pretty heavy. Unit: It's pretty much perfect sized for my apartment. It got a little wobbly but I'm pretty sure it was because of the carpet and slightly uneven floor. I solved that by wedging a little bit of cardboard under the front ends to make it slightly tilt back towards the wall. All in all, not too shabby but won't be taking it with me when I move in 2-3 years. Worth the cost? If all the parts were intact and clean, I'd say it's worth the money. As it is, I'd probably not have paid over $120 shipped for it due to the subpar condition of the parts and the additional hassle of having to go to customer service and ask for unbroken, unscuffed parts.

I should have listened to the other poor reviews of this product. It came with broken pieces and was missing the bottom part of the drawer. It is not sturdy whatsoever. I am incredibly disappointed with this website and probably will not continue shopping here.

The instructions, are next to useless, they need some actually instruction with the pictures and numbers, like don't place the top part on until you place the glass doors on or you will have to pull the whole top part, apart and do it all again so you can have glass doors. We have the while one which was very simmerlar but when we moved we broke it, so we got this one whihc was slightly cheaper, and there was our mistake! We should have gotten the same one again. The shelve sizes aren't high enough for tall bottles, so we can't store wine or anything on there, the draw is so much smaller and make sure you know the size of your microwave if you plan to use it for that. Seriously, our fits but only just.

We purchased this item to create more storage space in our kitchen. We are thrilled with the purchase, it is lovely, looks like a nice piece of furniture and provides excellent storage options. It is a bit complicated to put together, but if you or someone else is handy and is patient it is well worth the effort. Highly recommend!

It is a nice item but I would avoid its purchase if you don?t have the basic skill set or suitable clamps for assembly of a kit of this size. I would recommend this item ONLY for those who have assembly experience and can make use of limited instruction. The instruction sheets for this item are little-more than pictorials with STEP Numbers; no verbiage or helpful assembly notes. When assembling this item, it is strongly urged to use 36inch bar clamps for clamping the assemblies together. This will allow the glue to properly set and gives you unhindered installation of the fasteners. The problems I encountered were faulty or defective fasteners that broke when the lower cabinet assembly was repositioned. The broken fasteners weakened the rest of the assembly, causing it to collapse; damaging a few boards. When I called customer service about this calamity, they were understanding, and quick to get me help thru the parts department. I informed the rep of what I needed and the replacement parts were sent without charge or question. Things happen; when they do, it is good to know that help is only a phone call away Bottom-Line: This is a very nice item when assembled the RIGHT WAY but it is big and bulky. Do not try this one without the minimum tool requirement of having at least one (two preferred) 36in bar clamps; especially if you don't have someone helping you.

Of all the pieces of furniture that I've assembled, this was the most poorly constructed by far. Some cam bolts broke while I was assembling the cabinet, and I ended having to secure the cabinet with my own screws. Without that reinforcement, the thing wobbled and looked like it would collapse with a soft shove. If you're looking for a sturdy microwave cabinet, I recommend that you keep looking.

the cabinet fills the space needed and storage. It did take over a day to put together, reading instructions and sorting materials. Cabinet is sturdy and takes time and patience to work with installation. Wood is strong and looks very good.

I really like this beacause it gets the Microwave off the counter & adds extra storage. I am very pleased. I didn't realize it had a pull out in the middle & have put the phone there.

Do NOT buy this item. It is ludicrously complicated to assemble, with near zero instructions, and is a flimsy piece of junk. I wasted a good Saturday afternoon on this pile of cheap rubbish. You have been WARNED.

This product looks very nice. But its made of partical board and chips easy. I purchased this item and received a broken piece, they sent me a new piece. I was expecting more since I order monthly from them.

I am handicapped and can not get around that well, but this was very easy to assemble.

What a gem!! This darling thing transformed my once, cluttered and messy kitchen and dining area into a sleak and polished organized area. Yay! Great buy..I have an expanded studio and now I can funtction with more ease. I love this Microwave Center. Plan to call a buddy for this requres 2 sets of hands to assemble. Great product and looks exactly as advertised. A little difficult and time consuming to assemble, since the instructions are not very clear. But the end result is worth spending the time. It looks small, but fits a lot of things inside. A valuable buy for a medium sized kitchen.

I have searched for a month for a nice Cabinet to 'expand' my kitchen a little. I had a small space and a small amount of money. I was happy when I found this one and I'm really happy with how it looks. The glass doors gives me a place to disply my wine glasses. My microwave fits perfectly, and I can store things I don't use often (crock pot, waffle maker, ect) out from my regular cabinet. It's pretty steady (and comes with a strap to steady it to the wall - I have a small child so that's important). My husband had it together, by himself, in about 2 hours. For the price, and for being presswood, it's a great little cabinet.

This piece is functional and nice-looking. The only problem is that it took quite a while to assemble, and the instructions were far from clear. Once you're over that hurdle, however, you'll have some great kitchen storage.

I definitely love this item. It took a little while to assemble but when it was all said and done, I absolutely love it. It is worth every penny I paid for it.

It isnt a bad item A little hard to assemble the directions aren't very clear. The doors are a little off and it doesn't say what size microwave will fit..unfortunately mine didn't. But it looks good and gives you extra space if needed.
