I think the window curtain was a good value for the money. The only problems are that it is very heavy to raise and lower and the room darkening aspect it too good for the room I purchased it for. If I was to change this shade to a bedroom it would be great in regards to light.

I didn't really care whether or not the blinds blocked light out, but they work great for that! The color (burgandy) is dark and rich. My only complaint is it seems so heavy when I am pulling on the cord; I feel like I am going to break the string, shade, or completely pull off the entire thing off it's brackets!

Okay. I was looking for inexpensive blinds for a window and sliding glass doors. These are inexpensive. Problem is, they don't go up and down without a fight. Because the color is right and they look nice pulled up, I've left them there but I don't "use" them. I'd like to drop the blinds in the winter and the feeling of privacy, but they just don't go down and up and then if you do get them up. after down they pull up crooked. Not sure I would or wouldn't recommend. Depends on what you are looking for.

Color not as pictured. The poles were sticking out on the sides and the bottom section was broken. That side drops now bwcause of the broken section. Size was good but too dark and broken.

This was a great and easy way to add style to your windows. I was surprised as to how simple it was to put up. The color is beautiful, the length was perfect for my sliding glass doors, and it blocks out all of the light making it feel very private when the shades are down. The only downfall is that the dowels (wooden rods) poke out every once in a while, which makes me question the durability over time.

I was surprised to see the excellent quality and beauty. Easy to install and very nice compliment to my family room.

I haven't installed this, yet, due to the fact, I have to hire someone with 2.. 12 ft ladders. Did open box and seems like it will do the job. Just to find someone where I live is a tad hard.....Otherwise, I'd give it 5 stars :-)

Nice color, texture and weight. Super simple to hang. Looks great-- adds a nice finish to the room.

Just what I needed. Decided to hand a shade over a double window to keep the house a little cooler. Liked this color. Shade arrived, it was perfect and easy to hang. Only comment would be that for a shade this side, the hardware used had 3 hooks to attach to the wall, there is no cut out in the middle to allow the pole to touch the bar. It wasn't a problem the bar still rested on the hook with the material in place but just wanted to note that is why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5.

Read lots of reviews on this product and was a little worried about weight -- I purchased a large 1.25 in diameter curtain rod and instaled it in studs --- The string works fine and pulls up the shade with ease. Very happy with it

I bought the coffee color! VERY pretty! They are from *** for **** a piece! Very nice quality and pretty! You will not be disappointed!

I like it. It had a tag on it from ****** for $129. Maybe that is why they are out-of=business? Anyway, right after I hung it up one of the little fabric tabs that holds the little plastic rings that pulls up the blind, fell off. It was an easy fix with a neddle and thread, but non-sewers might have been really put off. I was glad to have read the reviews posted in advance so that I knew it would be fairly heavy. I hung it from a wooden curtain rod with my brackets screwed into the studs, so it would be well secured to the wall. I think it looks great, blocks the light when down, and is a nice alternative to vertical blinds.

Received the blinds and they were just as expected. I especially appreciated the way they were packed in their own bag as it was a few days before we could hang them and it kept them clean and away from our curious cats.

I was so excited to order this product. We get a lot of cold air through the sliding glass door and I thought this product would stop a lot of it. The idea was good , the blind was not. The Chenille material was heavy enough to do the trick, but when I pulled it up in the morning the hardware broke off as the screws holding them in were too short. Also the weight of the blind was too much for the 1 inch rod it was hung on.....the bracket on the wall bent from it. I was also very disappointed in the color. I ordered beige and it looked like papersack brown on the window. I also didn't know the window side of the blind was black. It would cost more to return it than the blind cost. So we will put longer heavier screws into the wood bar at the top and sell it at a garage sale.........It was back to thermal curtains for us. Do not buy unless you want to fix it first and hang it from heavy duty hooks somehow.

First of all.. I ordered the beige but I got burgundy, but I actually liked it a lot, so it was okay with me... But, I wouldn't recommend this for something you are opening frequently. I bought it for a slider door that is seldom used, but I pulled it up a few times and it feels pretty sketchy...it's heavy. Good window covering for the price, in my opinion... and you can't beat the shipping price!

I love my new blind...It blocks out the sunlight big time...Its very good quality...I would highly recommend this blind..,.it is heavy so hang well and enjoy!!

This blind was as easy to put up as the description says. It is nice because it is a blackout blind, with the chenille on the front and the back lined with thick black fabric. The chenille fabric is a little duller in color than shown in the picture though.

These blinds would only work if you never wanted to put them up or down - I have had them a week and 2 are broken. They are too heavy for the pulls etc. that work the up and down process, so they break after very little use. Don't buy - perhaps the smaller sizes would be OK but definitely NOT in this size. AnnaOH
