Nice styling but the "wood" on this chest is contact paper. I was REALLY dissapointed when I received it and even more after I put it together as it looks really cheap....like a stand you bought on a yard sale and covered with wood looking contact paper. I would NOT buy this item again.

I got 2 of this night stands, to match my dresser, i was quite dissaponted with the quality, i knew it wasn't real wood, is laminated but they did a bad job with the lamination. I would say it's too expensive for the quality you get

Like this nightstand alright, but it was missing 2 vital screws so we had to make a 15 mile drive on a busy Saturday afternoon to a screw specialty shop to get the 2 screws that were missing. This thing is not easy to put together, the directions are crazy, (but then again, my husband is NOT handy... when we first got together, I had to beg him for a power drill and finally had to go buy my own.) Overall, this night stand works fine for what it was intended, although the drawers are a little "sticky" when you pull them out, but then again, that could be my husbands shoddy workmanship. : ) It also looks wider in the photo on overstock than what it actually is.

I wasn't expecting a quality and well finished piece for DIY furniture - particularly at this price point - but I was expecting something that would give the illusion of quality. Not so. The drawers do not line up correctly so of course they don't close properly. The directions were incomplete. If I wanted to solve a puzzle I would have bought one! We ordered two of these nightstands...one at a time. I was too hasty in ordering the second one having not waited until final assembly of the first. Possibly the second one will come together easier and and have a more finished apearance.

Very happy with my purchase. Was just what I was looking for.

I bought two of the nightstands for my childrens' room, I purchased them to go with a cherry wood headboard, even though they were not same company the color was a great match. Plus they were larger than I though they would be. looks very nice, would recommend if you looking for an inexpensive piece of furniture that looks nice and appears to be sturdy.

The finish on these is bad. there were several white patches showing through the brown finish. the finish on the sides and drawers is easily scratched.

Chelsea Cherry 2-drawer & Open Cubbie Nightstand is not a very good product because the wooden finish is really a lamination on top of plastic and the assembly is very lengthy and the finished product is of very poor quality even for this price.

Although it comes in lots of small pieces, once we got it together, we loved it. It's sturdy and beautiful. Screw caps were included to cover the outside screws and thereby hiding them. I plan to buy another one. Great value for the dollar if you do any comparison shopping at all. There were no nicks, scratches or blemishes. A beautiful finished product.

these aren't as nice as what you might find in an upper end furniture store but they are decent for pre-fab furniture. I did not have any trouble putting these together, although it did take me a couple of hours. A power screw driver is highly recommended. If you don't like projects like this, pay for something already pre-assembled -- but you're going to spend twice as much!

the instructions were very detailed but each nightstand took me about 2 hours to assemble. The laminated wood appearance seems to be easily damaged. Think twice

I bought the entire bedroom set which I love ... It was tricky to put together & took many hours ... The long Dresser is very short ... Would have liked it better had it been taller ...

I was pleased with the look and ease of assembly. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and you will only need a screw driver and small hammer to assemble. I used a cordless drill which made installing the studs much easier and faster. The only draw back is the quality of the drawers and drawer slides. The drawers are very light and the bottom of the drawers are pressed fiber board. I would not place any heavy items in the drawers. Be careful hammering the nails and installing the studs in to the drawer sides, the wood will split easily. I would recommend this nightstand if you are looking for an inexpensive, good looking piece for a second bedroom or kids room.

Nice but was darker than the picture and the pieces would have been easier to put together if they would have been labeled according to the directions.

this is the first item that i haven't been totally satisfied with from ClubO. There were a few chipped edges, that I used furniture marker pen to cover up.assembly was relatively easy. they are sturdy and do look nice in the bedroom, with the high bed. I guess for the price, they are a good buy.

The piece works well in my room and I am glad that I purchased it. However,I needed an expert craftsman to help me assemble it. The directions were confusing. In the end, the craftsman ignored the directions and simply assembled it. Whew!

Poor Quality material. The partical board is wrapped in wood colored paper/sticker although a few pieces are actual stained (I THINK). Draws are EXTREMELY flimsy. This is my first time ordering furnature from overstock and Im not pleased with this purchase. I dont mind assembling things but when you don't give enough screws, etc or extra incase something brakes while assembling... it doesnt get finished. Hense I had to go the store to get some to finish putting it together.

This nightstand is the perfect addition to my bedroom. The height is just the right size for my platform bed. It did take a little longer than I expected to put together (about an hour and a half). The drawers are spacious and the screw covers could have been made to fit better. I am very satisfied with this product.

Purchased this for my son's room. He already had 2 dressers but not a night stand. It actually matched better than I thought it was going to! Took me a couple of hours to assemble but I followed the directions and it went together without any problems. I don't think the picture does it justice. It is particle board covered with a wood look laminate. But it isn't a skimpy piece of furniture. I would recommend this item to any of my friends. Another great Overstock purchase! It did take a little longer to receive, I think because it is shipped from overseas.
