This product is nice and all, but it's better suited for deep frying than slow cooking anything. I know it says it is a multi-cooker, however when you read the directions, they say nothing of how to use it as anything but a fryer. Also, it would have been nice if it came with some recipes. The color looks exactly as shown, but there's a place on the side where the paint has been chipped off. That's how I received it, by the way. All in all I can't complain about it's frying capabilities, seeing as how I've yet to use it. I went ahead and got a Rival slow cooker for cheaper instead. I love it because it comes with a bunch of recipes and has in-depth instructions, plus, quite a few helpful tips.
