strange shape
From the description I thought I was going to be able to set it down in the pot to more safely boil eggs and such but this item is so oddly shaped that it does not fit into any boiling pot I own.

As good as you would expect
I got this as a gift because I saw the "chef basket" on tv enough times to be intrigued. It seems to work well, but I am anxious to see how well it holds up and if it stays rust-free.
